The star of the previous Punisher series will be reprising his role for the upcoming Disney+ series
The Punisher, Marvel’s vigilante anti-hero, is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Jon Bernthal reprising the role for the upcoming Disney+ Series Daredevil Born Again.
The Punisher was last seen in the MCU during The Punisher series, which ran on Netflix from 2017-2019. Comicbook.com’s Adam Barnhardt noted Bernthal seemingly acknowledged his return to the MCU via the above Instagram Image, which was taken from Season 2 of the Punisher series and posted shortly after it was announced Bernthal would be returning to the MCU.
Daredevil Born Again is scheduled to premiere in Disney+ in 2024. Bernthal’s Punisher will be involved series storyline, which will also feature the return of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil characters.
Game of Thrones writer and co-executive producer will be the showrunner on the upcoming Disney+ series.
Attention Zorro fans! The upcoming new series officially has a showrunner. Rosy Cordero at Deadline reports that the series showrunner and executive producer will be Bryan Cogman, who was previously a writer and co-executive producer for Game of Thrones.
The masked Diego De La Vega, AKA Zorro, will be played by Wilmer Valderrama, who fans will recognize from That 70’s Show (Fez), NCIS (Nick Torres), and Encanto (Agustín). The series is a re-imagining of the 1950s and 1960s era hit which sees Diego De La Vega don the mask of Zorro in the face of corruption and scandal to become America’s first superhero. Zorro later appeared on the silver screen in the 1998 film which starred Antonio Banderas.
The updated series, currently under production by Disney Branded Television, will reportedly take place in the hero’s hometown of El Pueblo de Los Angeles. Disney has not yet announced the show’s premiere date.

The theme park would be located off the Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway.
The proposed park has been the subject of several public meetings and even some pushback from concerned residents including those who live just down the street from the proposed area.
Last Night the Frisco City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission meeting included a presentation by Jonathan Hubbard, Frisco’s Planning and Zoning manager.
The Universal Theme Park is designed for children ages 3 to 11. They are expecting around 7,000 to 10,000 visitors daily with double the attendance on the weekends.
The theme park would have to comply with city noise and lighting ordinances, according to Hubbard. Operating hours vary but the attraction could open as early as 8 a.m. and close as late as 10 p.m.
Height limitations for the theme park and hotel also vary, and could require additional council approval, but could top 100 feet or 10 stories.
The current plan is for the construction of the Universal Theme Park to begin later this year in what is currently a vacant field on the east side of the Dallas North Tollway, immediately north of Panther Creek Property.
The proposed size of the project is 97 acres and will likely include a 300-room hotel. That would put the park at just less than half the size of Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington which is about 30 miles away.
A like a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, The Rise of Skywalker (2019) was the last Star Wars film to hit the big screen. Sure, this latest drought seems like child’s play for those of us who had to endure the long hiatus between Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace. While Disney+ has been delivering new Star Wars content like The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Andor, and Obi-Wan, the big screen has been surprisingly dark for Lucasfilm. It is not for lack of effort, as projects from Patty Jenkins, Rian Johnson, and Kevin Feige have either been indefinitely postpones or completely shelved.
So when can Star Wars fans expect to see another film hit theaters? Variety has reported that Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi continues to work on his Star Wars script quietly behind the scenes. Could that effort pay off in a prospective film for the summer of 2025? While Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to announce concrete plans for Waititi’s project, we could be getting word on this project and more in the upcoming Star Wars celebration which will be held in London on April 7-10.
Taika Waititi would likely play a role on screen in this yet to be developed film. This would mark his second appearance in the Star Wars universe. Waititi lends his voice to IG-11 in The Mandalorian and has directed an episode in season 1. Waititi has become a Hollywood Darling in the past five years as a writer, director, and actor in both film and shows for streaming behemoths like HBOMAX, Disney+, and HULU.
Lucasfilm is guarding its secrets well about any forthcoming films from Waititi or others, and we are hopeful to hear news of a return to the big screen. Until then, Star Wars fans can count on Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni to satiate their appetites with Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, and more episodes of The Mandalorian on Disney+. History, After All
“it’s a small world” was created for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair. Personally overseen by Walt Disney in support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the attraction was a huge hit. After 2 seasons there, it was shipped to Disneyland park, where it opened on May 28, 1966.
In 1971, “it’s a small world” was recreated to become one of the Opening Day attractions at Walt Disney World Resort. Due to its immense popularity, the attraction has been replicated at many Disney theme parks around the world and is considered a Walt Disney masterpiece.
New Mural and Clock Returns to Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. Tron Lightcycle/ Run is due to open April 4th, 2023, also due to open is a rethemed Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. TLP is supposed to the new gift shop for Tron, along with being the exit for Space Mountain.
A sign used to read “Generating a Bright New Tomorrow” and when it was lit up at night time it looked stunning. The backlighting worked perfectly on this Gothic Hall of Justice building. Above stood a few Lightning Bolts, and a mechanical clock, that looked like gears and was very steampunk. That disappeared back in December.
Now, Disney has replaced the Clock and Mural that sits below the clock. The clock face is blue and gold with lightning bolts for hands. The new mural is a city of the future, with a ship blasting off with a celestial background.

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Removed from Magic Happens Parade in Disneyland
The Magic Happens Parade in Disneyland originally featured a lyric from the song, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah but that has since been removed. Disneyland officials confirmed that a lyric from the song was removed from the parade soundtrack.
Most guests know Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah from the classic attraction, Splash Mountain. That ride no longer exists at Walt Disney World and its time is limited at Disneyland. Both are being rethemed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The lyric from the song was replaced with a tune from Peter Pan in the parade soundtrack.
Magic Happens is performed twice every day at Disneyland and features some of our favorite characters!
