Disney premiered an extended trailer for the upcoming live-action version of the Little Mermaid recently, which contained our first look at how Scuttle (voiced by Awkwafina) and Sebastian (voiced by Daveed Diggs) will appear on screen.
The live-action version of The Little Mermaid incorporates CGI characters (such as Sebastion and Scuttle) and real-life actors (such as The Little Mermaid, played by Halle Bailey, and Ursela, played by Melissa McCarthy). You can view the trailer below, with Scuttle and Sebastion appearing around the 1:20 mark.

First Look At TRON Lightcycle Run Merchandise Available At Magic Kingdom!
Venture into the grid with the new TRON Lightcycle Run merchandise that just digitalized at Magic Kingdom! This collection comes just in time to celebrate the opening of the futuristic attraction on April 4, 2023, take a look at everything you will be able to find:
This new merchandise is divided in three collection inspired by the attraction, the film and the video game from back in the 80’s.
The first collection is called “Back to the Arcade” that captures the early 1980’s arcade scene complete with nods to Flynn’s Arcade from the original film. That’s why the apparel in this collection is bright and nostalgic.
Elements from the video games were also turned into backpacks and illuminated wall signs to add a retro yet futuristic touch to your home. There is also a tumbler that includes vintage lightcycles that race around a domed top.
The second collection is called “Thrill of the Race” which contains racing inspired apparel for adults and kids. The apparel feature lightcycles that are fast two-wheeled vehicles on the Grid, like a motorcycle in the real world.
Finally, the third collection “Life on the Grid” features a light up replica of Sam Flynn’s helmet as seen in TRON: Legacy using the original costume piece as reference. The helmet is the perfect finishing touch for a TRON costume!
If you would like to continue racing after visiting the Grid, then check out the TRON Lightcycle Handlebars! An interactive toy that contains light and sound effects from TRON and can turn into an interactive game for up to four players.
You will also find light up jackets and other accessories like a backpack that holds a new interactive identity disc that doubles as an audio speaker! Pretty cool huh?

Disney CEO Bob Iger talked about the future of the MCU and the Avengers as part of the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference. Iger shared the upcoming plans with Deadline stating, “We’re going to turn back to the Avengers franchise with a whole new set of Avengers…”
Iger stressed balancing fan-favorite characters with new faces as they move forward with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iger’s remarks come amidst heavy criticism that Marvel has lost its mojo as of late. Iger responded to critics saying, “There’s nothing in any way inherently off in terms of the Marvel brand. I think we just have to look at what characters and stories we’re mining. If you look at the trajectory of Marvel in the next five years, there will be a lot of newness.”
While Disney and Marvel have not officially announced the Avengers Lineup for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, head writer Jeff Loveless has hinted towards likely participants. “We got Florence Pugh, and Jonathan Majors, and Letitia Wright. We’ve got such a deep bench of really good actors.,” stated Loveless, “Everyone’s gonna get their chance to shine. I can’t say who. I can’t say when they will shine. But I think we’ve got a deep bench and it’s fun to finally put everybody into the game.“
Several films are planned before the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, so much is still up in the air. Fans might have to wait beyond 2025 for the answers to who will fill this roster, as the MCU timeline has been shakier than the multiverse as of late. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to release on May 2, 2025.

All-New TRON Identity Program Coming to the Magic Kingdom
Prepare to enter the Grid through a Grid Digitization Portal located in All-New Tomorrowland Launch Depot at the Magic Kingdom. Once inside, you will be able to create an action figure, or Program, that looks and sounds just like you.
As a User, you will go through the customization process. Image Capture will scan your facial features. Then, you’ll select your helmet and body configuration. Will your Program be an Enforcer or a Combatant? A Scout or a Heavy Sentry? The choice is yours. Also, don’t forget to select a team color. Finally, you’ll visit Command Input, where you will record 6 lines of dialogue in your own voice.
Please allow 20 minutes to make your selections. Once all of your choices have been made, your Program will be ready for retrieval within 60 minutes. Be aware that the purchase of your Program is required.

Disney fans are eagerly counting down the days until they can enter the grid. TRON Lightcycle / Run will officially open to guests on April 4, 2023, with some lucky guests already attending early previews of the attraction.
TRON Lightcycle / Run, based on the 1982 movie TRON and the 2010 sequel TRON Legacy, invites riders to ‘enter the grid’ and experience a thrilling ride on a Lightcycle for themselves. The Magic Kingdom attraction adopts many of the themes from the storylines of the films, allowing riders to immerse themselves in the TRON Universe.
The story of TRON Lightcycle / Run picks up where the storyline in TRON: Legacy leaves off. The backstory for the ride notes Sam Flynn has opened a second gateway into TRON at Magic Kingdom, with the first portal located at the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction in Shanghai Disneyland. Riders enter the grid and are assigned to Team Blue, racing on Lightcycles against either team Red, Yellow, or Orange in an attempt to be the first to pass through eight gates.
The attraction includes a myriad of callbacks to the movies, including the ENCOM SHV 20905 laser that digitizes riders and allows them to enter the grid, the circular identity disc that allows riders to pair with the Lightcycles, and the hexagon appearance within the grid that is consistent with the grid theming in both TRON movies. In true Disney fashion, riders will find themselves in the world of TRON from the beginning of the queue all the way through the end of the attraction.

The attraction is the fastest in a Disney theme park (along with the original TRON Lightcycle / Run at Shanghai Disneyland), reaching speeds of just under 60 mph.
The ride track is over 3,000 feet long
The massive (and beautiful) canopy is 105 feet high and features over 1,200 lights
The footprint of the ride encompasses a total of 10 acres, marking the largest expansion of Magic Kingdom since the construction of New Fantasyland
The Lightcycles include onboard audio and lighting
