Oscar Isaac Confirmed as ‘Moon Knight‘ in Upcoming Marvel Studios Series for Disney+. This week cinematographer Gregory Middleton confirmed he would act as director of photography for the upcoming Marvel Studios series Moon Knight under the direction of Mohamed Diab and also confirmed Oscar Isaac will lead the series as Marc Spector.
Middleton shared the news via Instagram writing, “Well the secret is out. It’s an honor to be a part of introducing a new character to the MCU #MoonKnight. Who says cinematographers worry about white costumes! … not if they are complex characters played by an amazing performer like @officialoscarrisaac. Thank you director Mohamed Diab and the #mcu for inviting me aboard.”
Not much is known about the series at this time, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared, “It’s been a while since we’ve had an action hero who jumps out of buildings and gets into fights.” Feige also elaborated and hints that the series will add some grit to the MCU and confirmed the series will explore Marc Spector’s mental illness.
Moon Knight is reportedly set to begin filming in March 2021, around the same time as She-Hulk is set to begin filming. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
