Box Office Record Precedes Home Release
The home release follows a record-setting theatrical run. Earlier in September, Brand New Day passed Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the top-grossing film ever at the domestic box office, with about $936.77 million compared with the previous record of $936.66 million.
The film is also Sony’s highest-grossing release of all time. Its worldwide total of roughly $2.453 billion ranks third among all films globally.

Story and Cast
Brand New Day picks up Peter Parker’s story after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which a spell cast by Doctor Strange left the world with no memory of who Peter is.
Holland and Zendaya lead a cast that also includes Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Florence Pugh and Tramell Tillman. Destin Daniel Cretton directed the film from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
