A six year old Canadian boy, named Linden Bradley, wanted to celebrate some big news at Disneyland! After receiving the news that he is now cancer free, Linden was granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He knew exactly where he wanted to go: Disneyland!
With now being cancer-free and with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Linden knew exactly what he wanted to do! His big wish was not only to spend a day at the Happiest Place On Earth, but to open the gates as well! Linden was handed the keys to the kingdom and with the help of a Disneyland Ambassador and Mickey Mouse, he was able to open the Disneyland gates.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted countless wishes to so many children since its founding in the 80’s. With the help of volunteers, donors, and sponsors, they have been able to create some magical life changing moments for kids with critical illnesses.
The Disneyland Resort helps Make-A-Wish fulfill at least 700 wishes per year! It just goes to show that wishes do come true at the Happiest Place on Earth!
