Epcot’s L’Artisan Des Glaces Offers a Taste of Fall with the Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich

Hello fall, we’ve missed you! And a good number of us have specifically been missing Pumpkin Spice in our lives. It seems like every year that seasonal flavor comes back to Walt Disney World with more force than the year before, always boasting new beverages and snacks to try. Although those treats can be hit-or-miss with a lot of people, there is one, in particular, you’ll want to give a shot: the Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich from L’Artisan Des Glaces in Epcot.

Head over to the France pavilion to find the ice cream shop for which we have ”l’amour fou” (crazy love). They offer 16 artisanal flavors of ice cream, as well as sundaes, brioche ice cream sandwiches, and of course macaron ice cream sandwiches! The Pumpkin Spice Macaron is seasonal, as the macarons tend to be, and is pre-made for a quick-serve. The sandwich costs $5 before tax, and it is eligible for a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

If you like Pumpkin Spice you’ll definitely love the flavor of this treat. The ice cream itself is full of that classic flavor, while the macaron part tastes more like macaron cookies do, which is a nutty almond flavor. Overall, the two complement each other perfectly and ensure that the spice stays light. The size of the macaron is great for the price and can be shared between two guests if they aren’t feeling too greedy. Some of us might be able to put down more than one though, honestly!
