Last week we shared that news the Disney World website was showing that the theme parks would open on May 10th. It was never confirmed by Disney that they would be opening on that date so we chalked it up as a computer glitch.
Disney seems to be pushing the opening date a week at a time, today they are showing park hours starting on May 17th now.
Earlier this week Disney World President Josh D’Amaro joined the Florida Re-Open task force, they are expected to have some ideas on the Governors desk by Friday.
While we are excited to see some sort of date available, I know we have a long way to go before the nation fully recovers from the Coronavirus. Like Bob Iger said recently in an interview that there are going to be changes coming to how we enter and enjoy the Disney theme parks…
