Last week we shared that news the Disney World website was showing that the theme parks would open on May 3rd. It was never confirmed by Disney that they would be opening on that date so we chalked it up as a computer glitch.
Today Disney World has pushed the date forward a week, this time the website is showing park hours starting on May 10th.
Just a little while ago the White House sent out Guidelines for Opening Up America Again which moves us one step closer to getting out of the house and maybe the Disney World theme parks opening back up!
You can read all about the proposed Phase Reopenings here.
Again we have no confirmation from Disney that the Walt Disney World theme parks will open by then, we are however hopeful that steps are being taken to get Cast Members back to work and Disney World up and running again!
Either way we are excited to see some sort of date available, I know we have a long way to go to before the nation fully recovers from the Coronavirus. Like Bob Iger said recently in an interview that there are going to be changes coming to how we enter and enjoy the Disney theme parks…
