Disney has unveiled new details for Disney Lakeshore Lodge, the highly anticipated nature-inspired resort taking shape on the shores of Bay Lake. The latest update offers a first look at the resort’s towering grand lobby, three distinct dining venues, and a rooftop lounge designed to offer prime views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Grand Lobby Architecture and Arrival Experience
The centerpiece of Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a soaring, multi-story grand lobby inspired by the natural beauty of the American outdoors and classic national park lodges:
- Natural Elements: The space features floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking Bay Lake, exposed wooden beam work, and stone accents throughout.
- Central Fireplace: A massive multi-sided stone fireplace serves as the central gathering point for guests arriving in the main atrium.
- Art and Lighting: Custom chandelier installations modeled after indigenous flora hang from the timbered ceilings, paired with commissioned artwork celebrating North American wildlife.
Three New Dining Concepts Announced
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will introduce three distinct culinary concepts ranging from casual quick-service to upscale waterfront dining:
- The Timberline Grill: A flagship table-service restaurant featuring open-hearth cooking, steaks, fresh game, and sustainable seafood.
- Pinecone Pantry: A primary quick-service location offering grab-and-go options, artisanal baked goods, and hot breakfast and dinner plates.
- The Shoreline Lounge: An open-air waterfront bar and patio serving craft cocktails, local beers, and small plates right along the edge of Bay Lake.
Bay Lake Provisions
Bay Lake Provisions will be the perfect spot to fuel up for a day of adventure or relax and refresh after a poolside afternoon. This all-day, quick-service marketplace will offer specialty coffees and fresh fare in an inviting open-kitchen atmosphere.
And because no space is complete without a little hidden magic, guests can find woodland critters inspired by beloved Disney classics throughout the space.

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill
When all the fun in the sun works up an appetite, head to Paint Out Point Bar & Grill near Lakeshore Lagoon.
Enjoy shareable bites and specialty beverages while soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds The Wetlands. Inspired by the art of plein-air painting, this pool bar will showcase a collection of original artwork created by Imagineers as they drew inspiration from the Bay Lake landscapes.
Dandelion Terrace
After the sun sets, guests can gather in Dandelion Terrace to see Magic Kingdom Park fireworks lighting up the sky over the waters of Bay Lake.
The lounge will be home to a two-story gallery of archival artwork from Disney classics like Fantasia, complete with whimsical dandelion light fixtures that add a touch of magic to the space. Soft lighting and sweeping views create the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy the nighttime spectacular.
Rooftop Fireworks Lounge
Perched at the top of the main tower, a new rooftop lounge will offer panoramic views across Bay Lake toward Magic Kingdom:
- Fireworks Views: Guests will be able to watch the nightly Happily Ever After fireworks display with synchronized audio piped directly onto the outdoor viewing deck.
- Specialty Menu: The venue will feature a curated list of fine wines, craft spirits, and elevated dessert pairings designed for late-night dining.
Zero-Entry Pool Complex and Bay Lake Recreation
Outdoors along the lakefront, Disney Lakeshore Lodge will feature expansive recreational amenities designed for families and outdoor enthusiasts:
- Resort Pool & Splash Area: A zero-entry main pool surrounded by lush landscaping, a dedicated interactive water play area for young kids, and a whirlpool spa overlooking the lake.
- Shoreline Cabins and Walking Trails: Scenic paved walking and jogging trails will wind along the shoreline, connecting the main lodge building to stand-alone Disney Vacation Club cabins along the water.
Room Types and Disney Vacation Club Accommodations
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will offer a hybrid layout featuring both traditional hotel guest rooms and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villa accommodations:
- Hotel Guest Rooms: Standard and outer-view rooms designed with warm wood tones and modern amenities.
- DVC Villa Layouts: Deluxe Studios, One-Bedroom Villas, Two-Bedroom Villas, and stand-alone multi-room shoreline cabins situated along the edge of Bay Lake.
Construction continues to move forward along Bay Lake, with further booking windows, room layouts, and opening dates expected to be announced in the coming months.
Disney Vacation Club and Hotel Accommodations
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will feature a mix of traditional hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villa accommodations, including studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and multi-room stand-alone cabins situated along the shoreline.
Construction continues to progress along Bay Lake, with further opening dates and booking details expected from Disney in the coming months.
