Main Street Scarecrows and Jack o Lanterns Arrive at Town Square in Magic Kingdom

The fall transformation of Magic Kingdom is moving forward in full swing! Following the arrival of autumnal bunting at the park entrance, Disney overnight crews have installed the beloved Main Street scarecrows and stackable jack-o’-lantern displays across Town Square ahead of the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Friday, August 7.

Main Street Citizens Transformed into Scarecrows

Gathered inside the central planters of Town Square, the fan-favorite scarecrows have officially taken their places. Each scarecrow features a carved pumpkin head with a unique expression and is styled after classic Citizens of Main Street and land Cast Members:

• The Mayor of Main Street: Clad in his formal coat, top hat, and sash, welcoming guests as they step onto Main Street, U.S.A.
• The Marching Band Member: Dressed in a bright red band uniform with a drumsticks and baton.
• The Emporium Shopper: Outfitted in a vintage skirt carrying an Emporium shopping bag and a mini Mickey scarecrow plush.
• The Baker & Confectionery Workers: Dressed in white chef wear and aprons, complete with spilled bags of sugar, lollipops, and candy apples.
• The Casey’s Corner Ballplayer: Outfitted in pinstripes with a baseball bat and ball in hand.

Themed Jack o Lanterns and Harvest Displays

Surrounding the scarecrows, additional autumn details have filled in around Town Square:

• Hartrich Farms Seed Crates: Stacks of carved jack-o’-lanterns sit atop wooden crates labeled “Hartrich Farms Jack-O-Lantern Seeds: Proudly Grown in Indiana & Missouri Since 1886,” paying tribute to Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri.
• City Hall and Town Square Theater: Matching pairs of silly-faced jack-o’-lanterns frame the entryways of both landmarks.
• Town Square Wreaths: Harvest-style wreaths featuring sunflowers, miniature gourds, and colorful fall leaves now line the windows and balconies of nearby storefronts.

Expect the iconic Mickey Mouse pumpkin wreaths to line the lampposts down Main Street, U.S.A., over the next couple of nights as Magic Kingdom puts the finishing touches on its Halloween decor!
