Still Open – But Not for Long!
✅ DINOSAUR (Closing in 2026 – You’ve Got One More Year!)
Dr. Seeker knows his time at the Dino Institute is running out, but he’s still got one mission left: sending you back to rescue an Iguanodon before the asteroid wipes out the dinosaurs. If you love thrill rides, time travel, and high-stakes adventure, this is one you don’t want to miss before it disappears!
✅ Restaurantosaurus (Open Through 2025 – Dig Into One Last Meal!)
Hungry explorers still have time to grab a bite at Restaurantosaurus before this quirky dino-diner fades into history. Stop in for fan-favorite bites like the Foot-long Hot Dog with Chili and Cheese, A-Maize-ing Magic Munch Fries, or the S’moresosaurus Shake. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a live performance from the Dino Institute Intern, who’s always eager to share his latest dino-themed tunes.
✅ The Boneyard (Open Through 2025 – Keep on Digging!)
Future paleontologists, this is your time to shine! The Boneyard is still open for play, meaning little archaeologists can dig, climb, and explore for the rest of the year before it becomes history.
✅ Dino-Bites Snacks (Still Open – Grab That Ice Cream!)
Before you say goodbye to DinoLand, stop by Dino-Bites Snacks for one last Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich or the Dig Dino Ice Cream Sandwich. After all, every adventure should end with something sweet!
Already Closed – But Not Forgotten
❌ TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures – Closed January 12, 2025.
While these classic DinoLand staples are now extinct, don’t worry—you can still find plenty of Disney Parks merchandise at Island Mercantile, Discovery Trading Co., and the Dino Institute Shop.

The future is tropical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! DinoLand is making way for Tropical Americas, also known as Pueblo Esperanza, a lush, sprawling new land filled with Indiana Jones adventures, an Encanto attraction, and some of the best quick-service dining Disney World has ever seen.

Tropical Americas is set to open in 2027, so while we bid farewell to the dinosaurs, a whole new adventure is on the horizon!
