Walt Disney World is in a constant state of change at the moment it seems. That statement might apply more to Epcot than anywhere else. Construction is everywhere, new shows and experiences on the horizon, and new health and safety protocols being put in place. The latest place we’ve noticed such a change is at the Margarita Stand in the Mexico pavilion.

Choza De Margarita is a popular place to grab a drink or some empanadas. It’s impossible to walk into the World Showcase without seeing someone carrying a margarita in their hand. Dozens of people stand in the line waiting for a Spicy Pineapple Margarita, a Frozen Fiesta, or some Tacos Al Pastor. To improve health standards at this location, Disney has placed a plexiglass panel up at the counter.

The plexiglass stands between Cast Members and guests. There are three spots at the counter and two plexiglass dividers ensure that guests have a partition between them as well. Every interaction will be kept to a high standard of safety.

If you’ve never been to Choza de Margarita, be sure to stop over on your next trip to Epcot! It’s located in the Mexico Pavilion. They have margaritas on the rocks, such as the Cucumber and the Spicy Blackberry. They also have frozen margaritas in flavors like Strawberry and Classic Lime. If you’re hungry you can also pick up some tostadas or chips and guacamole. The menu has something for everyone and it’s delicious!
