Josh D’Amaro also known as the current president of Disneyland Resorts. Announced today via Instagram, that he will be leaving his position at Disneyland and accepting the president position at Disney World Resorts in Orlando. D’Amaro though is no stranger to the Disney World resorts. According to publicaffairs.disneyland.com: “D’Amaro, previously led Resorts & Transportation Operations for the Walt Disney World Resort. As senior vice president, he oversaw the operation of the 26 Walt Disney World resort hotels as well as Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort.”
D’Amaro will continue as Disneyland president for a few more weeks to help Rebecca Campbell, the incoming Disneyland Resort president. Campbell currently leads as president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the company’s direct-to-consumer and international segment.
All of these changes coming after Disney Parks West President Catherine Powell, announced that she will be stepping down.
