Put those bathing suits and flip flops away. It’s time to starting thinking Christmas! If a visit holiday-time visit to Walt Disney World is in your plans, a visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a must-do! The popular celebration takes place select nights at the Magic Kingdom and features festive decor, glittering holiday lights, unique photos ops, snow on Main Street U.S.A., extra-magical entertainment, and much more!
“A Frozen Holiday Wish” kicks off the fun each night of the party when the sun begins to set. Guests who come early to the party have a chance to see Anna and Elsa lead a celebration just for their friends on the state in front of Cinderella Castle. The performance ends when Queen Elsa uses her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into a shimmering ice palace just for the holiday season.
“Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” showcases Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and others who drop by Mickey’s festive party dressed in their Christmas best. This event invites guests to ring in the holiday season with special carols old and new.
“Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade” is a must for everyone attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Expect to see marching toy soldiers (my favorite!), dancing gingerbread men, Disney characters, Santa, and more!
The evening caps off with “Holiday Wishes Fireworks – Celebrate the Spirit of the Season.” This to-good-to-be-true show features amazing fireworks set to your favorite holiday tunes.
All guests attending the party receive complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. The party also offers a great way to meet and greet with those rare characters including Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws and Scrooge McDuck. There is also party-exclusive merchandise and special holiday treats available for purchase.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which requires a special ticket to attend, will be held on the following nights: November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 25, 27 and 29; and December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 21.
