Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Pathway Expansion Construction

Changes are coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom with pathway expansion construction around Cinderella’s Castle. The pathway expansion construction is around the left side of the castle (when you face the front) by the walkway on the way to Fantasyland, behind Cinderella Castle and down to The Hub. This is to improve guest flow around the castle and to the surrounding lands!

The Magic Kingdom pathway expansion construction is also a sidewalk expansion going from Fantasyland to Liberty Square which is now open to guests. As you can see from the photos, the moat surrounding Cinderella’s Castle remains drained and the trees and landscaping are still being worked on! However, the new walls are now in place and the concrete poured and ready for the new walkway!

A Disney lover from across the pond (England). If I'm not in the parks, I'm dreaming of my next trip. My favourite Disney character is Simba and my favourite Disney ride would have to be Space Mountain!
