If you’re visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during this holiday season a must-see is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmastime Parade. There are two ways to see this amazing parade. You can see it at night during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or during the day the week of Christmas. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend scouting out a spot to watch.
The parade is full of Disney favorites. It has some characters from Toy Story, Disney Princesses, Toy Soldiers, and the main mouse himself. The parade starts off with Mickey and Minnie dressed in their holiday best. The music for this parade is so amazing and has everyone dancing.
The characters from Frozen are next! Led by a float with Olaf greeting parade viewers. There’s also some fun dancers with ice picks making their way between the floats.
Another adorable float is Goofy on top of a fun bike with tons of candy as decorations. Floats like these don’t only look amazing but that smell amazing as well. And who doesn’t love Goofy! His outfit for this parade is fantastic.
The Seven Dwarfs lead the way to almost all the Disney Princesses. Snow White is first and she is followed by a beautiful and humongous float filled with most of our favorites.
The Toy Soldiers are one of my favorite parts. This is an amazing sight to see. They are just before the end of the parade and Santa. They all march around and they are stunning.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmastime parade concludes with the man of the season. Santa arrives with his reindeer leading the way. He sits atop a sleigh with a huge bag of presents.
This parade is definitely a highlight of not only the Christmas party but of the holiday festivities at Walt Disney World. Make sure you check it out if you can and see Forky as the newest addition to this already amazing parade.
