Universal Orlando is reversing its requirement for unvaccinated employees to be tested for Covid-19 weekly. Earlier this month the resort announced employees needed to be vaccinated or undergo weekly testing starting in February.

The requirement was in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Emergency Temporary Standard. Team Members had until February 9 to be vaccinated or undergo weekly testing.
The Emergency Temporary Standard was recently blocked by the Supreme Court so now Universal Orlando has changed its policy.

Universal Orlando Resort employees are still required to share their vaccination status but are no longer required to get the shot and it is optional to provide proof.
