Forky isn’t the only one that loves a good trash can! We Disney lovers have a real affection for a nicely themed trash receptacle. We buy ornaments of them to hang on our Christmas trees. We even have trash can salt and pepper shakers on our kitchen counters themed to the different lands in Magic Kingdom or one of Epcot’s many festivals. Who can say they went to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival and not experienced fine dining atop a trash can? If you know, you know.

Disney trash cans are an iconic and important part of the park experience. Each land or area within the parks carries a different theme and color scheme. It’s just one of the many ways Disney keeps the theming in its lands and pavilions consistent.
Toy Story Land located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park is themed after Pixar’s Toy Story animated films. The trash cans there previously had a colorful Lego look theming to them and we have been seeing additions of similarly colorful but more geometric designs.
The older trash cans can still be spotted in various locations throughout the land as well.

More Changes Coming Soon
Toy Story Land has also seen some new additions with the opening of Jessies Trading Post gift shop that recently replaced the old shop at the exit of the Toy Story Mania ride.
Sometime in 2022 the new Toy Story Land Roundup Rodeo BBQ is slated to open and will surround guests with immersive and interactive games and experiences.
I think the addition of a sit-down restaurant in this land is much needed and will be extremely popular.
I like the older building brick-style trashcan the best personally. What design is your favorite?
