Disney installs more trash cans for motion sick guests at the exit of Cosmic Rewind. We have seen a slew of new trash cans placed at the exit for the newest coaster to open at Epcot. Reports of motion sickness when getting off Cosmic Rewind have been numerous. Furthermore, Disney had to have sickness bags ready for guests experiencing motion sickness when they exit the vehicles.
Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind opened last month to rave reviews. We thoroughly enjoy the ride in all of its glory. From the queue elements to the actual roller coaster itself. Unfortunately, not everyone is experiencing the joys of the newest coaster.
Although we do not get motion sick, others are having some severe issues with it. We are not taking anything away from those that do get motion sick, it appears to be a real concern for Disney now. I do not think Disney will revamp the ride in any way, so it looks like the solution is to have more trash receptacles on hand at the exit for those who may get sick.
