Disney World Looking for Next Dapper Dan Vocalist
Vocalists, this might be your ultimate dream opportunity! Disney Live Entertainment has officially opened online audition submissions for one of the most iconic entertainment offerings in theme park history: The Dapper Dans at Magic Kingdom Park.
If you have ever envisioned yourself wearing pinstriped vests and straw boater hats while serenading guests down Main Street, U.S.A., Disney is looking for talented performers to fill potential full-time contracts at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.
Disney is seeking male-presenting performers to join the classic barbershop quartet. Beyond exceptional vocal technique, tap dancing experience is considered a major plus for all roles, and strong vocal stamina is a necessity across the board.
Here is what Disney Live Entertainment is looking for across each vocal range:
- Tenor: Performers must be able to sing up to a high Bb4 in full voice, mix, or falsetto, with access to E5.
- Lead: Looking for a strong “Lead Vocalist” presence and persona, with a vocal range spanning from Bb2 up to C5.
- Baritone: Seeking a versatile part singer capable of covering a wide vocal range from F2 up to A4 in full voice, mix, or falsetto.
- Bass: Looking for a true Bass capable of hitting Eb2 or lower, ranging up to Eb4.
