The Walt Disney studios has officially released its 2019 Walt Disney Studios Film Previews!! This is so exciting! The Walt Disney Company is kicking off 2019 with a bang! We have so many exciting new releases coming out soon, starting in March! That’s a few short months away, thank goodness we don’t have to wait too long!
On March 8, 2019 Captain Marvel will on the big screen!! The film, set in the 1990’s, is an all new adventure from an unseen period in Marvel Cinematic Universe. This period will follow the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes a powerful hero. Danvers will find herself in a galactic war between two alien races that reaches earth.
At the end of March, on the 29th, fans can view the anticipated Live-action remake of Dumbo. Directed by Tim Burton, this live-action expands on the beloved classic story. It will be exciting to see how Circus owner, Max Medici, his former star, Holt Farrier, and Farrier’s two children, to care for a newborn elephant with oversized ears.
Coming April 17th, Disney’s new feature film, Penguins, will be released. This coming-of-age story will follow along a penguin, named Steve, as he builds a home, finds a life-partner, and starts a family. This film opens just in time for Earth Day 2019.
The next 2019 Walt Disney Studios Film to debut is the long awaited for Avengers: Endgame. This exciting addition to its previous films will be debuting in theaters on April 26, 2019! I can’t wait to see this movie!
On May 25th, movie buffs will be excited for the release of the Live-action remake of Aladdin! This vibrant live-action remake will be an adaptation of the animated classic, “Aladdin”. Follow along as Jasmin, Aladdin, and the Genie go on adventures outside of the palace walls Jasmin knows so well.
The 2019 Walt Disney Studios Film Toy Story 4. Woody and the gang will go on another adventure when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky”. Woody will discover just how big the world is for a toy.
The last of the live-action films, The Lion King, will debut on July 19th! Follow along in the African Savanna when the future king is born. With the help of a few new friends, Simba will have to learn what it takes to be a king to regain what is rightfully his.
On August 9th Disney’s Artemis Fowl will be featured on the big screen. Based on the book by Eoin Colfer, this fantastical, spellbinding adventure follows a 12-year-old genius, Artemis, as he seeks to find his father who has mysteriously disappeared.
The 2019 Walt Disney Studios Film will release the animated Frozen 2! I can’t wait to see what is in store for Anna, Elsa, Kirstoff, and Olaf when they return to the big screen in 2019!
Rounding out the year for the 2019 Walt Disney Studios films will be the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode IX. This film release, along with the anticipated opening of Star Wars Lands in 2019, will round out great year for the Walt Disney Company!
