Fortnite to Host Exclusive Premiere of Star Wars Tales of the Underworld
Epic and Disney are launching their largest Star Wars collaboration in Fortnite, featuring a fully themed Battle Royale Season and the exclusive premiere of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld on May 2nd. This unprecedented event allows Fortnite players to see the new Disney+ series two days before its official streaming release, marking the first time a Disney+ show has debuted within a game.

Fortnite is about to host its most ambitious Star Wars crossover yet with Fortnite: GALACTIC BATTLE, launching May 2nd! This fully Star Wars-themed Battle Royale season will deliver new content and gameplay weekly, letting players become iconic characters and pilot legendary ships, culminating in the Death Star Sabotage live event.
May 2nd also marks another first: the debut of a Disney+ series within a game! At 10 am ET, the Star Wars Watch Party island goes live, offering players a chance to watch the first two episodes of Lucasfilm Animation’s Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld. This new animated anthology from Dave Filoni explores the galaxy’s criminal side through Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane. The UEFN-built island, using official assets, also lets players engage in Stormtrooper battles.
Further bridging these worlds, starting today, players can link their Epic Games and MyDisney accounts. This unlocks a First Order Stormtrooper Outfit for the Galactic Battle season, with more benefits planned. This marks the first step in creating a seamless and valuable experience for Fortnite players and Disney fans, building a connected Disney games and entertainment universe within Fortnite.
