Disney Lorcana Steps into Hyperia City—With Pixar’s Coco Tagging Along!
Get ready, Illumineers! Ravensburger has officially pulled back the curtain on the next exciting chapter of the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG). The upcoming expansion set, Hyperia City, takes players into a bustling, fantastical metropolis where modern city life blends seamlessly with magic, music, and incredible new glimmers.
Hyperia City invites Illumineers to explore a vibrant urban landscape filled with musical street performances, unique shops, and dynamic nightlife. The new set introduces distinct boroughs across the city map, each hosting different glimmers:
- Marigold District: Glimmers from Disney and Pixar’s Coco make their long-awaited Lorcana debut here, bringing bone-tapping tunes and street performances to the city streets.
- M.A.G.I.C. (Multidisciplinary Academy for Genius, Imagination, and Creativity): Located on the city edge, fan favorites from Disney’s Big Hero 6 (like Honey Lemon) are hard at work researching cutting-edge magic.
- Other Neighborhoods: Explore the City Center, Wandering Straits, and Old Towne Hyperia alongside returning glimmers of Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, and more.
“There is something for everyone to enjoy in Hyperia City,” said Liz Richards, Art Director at Ravensburger. “From the engaging artwork depicting so many Dreamborn versions of Disney and Pixar characters, to the exciting possibilities of ink drops and how they are used, Hyperia City is a set that will delight Disney fans in multiple ways.”
Beside the rich urban atmosphere, Hyperia City brings a brand-new strategic element to gameplay: Ink Drops.
Ink drops act as counters that provide players with a one-time-use ink boost. Players can spend this temporary ink to cast cards straight from their hand or empower specific card abilities on the field.
“Ink drops can completely change the tempo of a game,” explained Lukas Litzsinger, Lead Game Designer for Disney Lorcana TCG. “We really wanted to focus in on a single mechanic in this set, and we’re excited to see how players will experiment with using them in their decks.”
Hyperia City showcases handcrafted artwork capturing a night out on the town—from high-energy concert moments to late-night passion projects.

Sneak Peek: Lorcana 2027 Roadmap & Collector Boosters
Ravensburger didn’t stop with Hyperia City—they also gave fans a thrilling look at what’s coming in 2027!
1. Into the Inkdark (Early 2027)
Hades is scheming in the depths beneath the realm of Lorcana, threatening to ignite a fiery new danger. This set will introduce Collector Boosters, available at select Ravensburger Play Hub stores and Disney Parks/stores.
- Exclusive Illustrious Cards: Collector boosters will feature rare Illustrious cards—the very first serialized Disney Lorcana cards. Each set will feature only 6 Illustrious card designs, with a strictly limited run of just 23 copies per card worldwide, showcasing bespoke art and prominent artist credits.
2. Cosmic Quest (Spring 2027)
Illumineers will blast off into a golden age of space exploration featuring glimmers of Ariel and Flounder, Stitch and his alien experiment brothers, and the Disney Lorcana debut of WALL•E and EVE!
3. Magical Mayhem (Late 2027)
Looking further down the road, a wave of “magical mayhem” is set to unleash across the realm by the end of 2027.
