Ryan Reynolds Teases The Real Reason Why ‘Deadpool 3‘ Is Taking So Long. Though all of Hollywood has been at a standstill for the past several months, Marvel fans have been awaiting any news from Marvel Studios or Ryan Reynolds about the future of the “Merc with a Mouth” since Disney acquired Fox Studios earlier this year. Ryan Reynolds seems to have heard the fans and decided to share the “real” reason Deadpool 3 is taking so long to put together. Reynolds shared a video in a tweet along with the caption, “It’s why the next [Deadpool] film is taking so long. Still trying to solve this. Happy [Leakaversary]”

Clearly Reynolds is teasing fans and the studios about the delay, but the acquisition of Fox by Disney has severely thrown off the timetable for the sequel, but the good news about any delay is that we are much more likely to get a Deadpool appearance in an upcoming film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Personally, I would love to see that happen in the next Spider-Man film. cough, cough Kevin Feige, I’m talking to you! cough, cough
