PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom Remains Closed

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom is still closed. The attraction did not reopen when Disney World began it’s phased reopening earlier this month.

At first, there was no official information regarding the attraction’s status but Disney World’s website and the My Disney Experience app now show that the PeopleMover is temporarily unavailable.

There has been no official word as to why this attraction remains closed or how long it will be temporarily unavailable. Some speculate that it is due to the extra cleaning and sanitation measures needed to keep the ride clean. Or perhaps it has something to do with the TRON: Lightcycle Power Run Roller Coaster being built practically next door.

Only time will tell when guests will get to board the PeopleMover again.
