Pete’s Silly Sideshow Reopens This Weekend at Magic Kingdom Following Refurbishment
Storybook Circus is ready to raise the Big Top curtain once again! Pete’s Silly Sideshow is officially set to reopen at Magic Kingdom on Saturday, June 27, following several months of refurbishment work.

The popular indoor character meet and greet has been closed since February while crews replaced the aging circus tent canopy, which had become faded after years in the Florida sun. Fresh aerial photos show the colorful new tent now fully installed, giving the iconic Storybook Circus location a refreshed look just in time for summer.
With the reopening, guests can once again meet the Dashing Disney Pals and Daring Disney Pals inside the air-conditioned Big Top. Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy will all return to their longtime home after spending the past several months greeting guests at temporary outdoor locations throughout Storybook Circus. On reopening day, Pete’s Silly Sideshow will welcome guests from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

While Pete’s Silly Sideshow is ready to welcome guests back, neighboring Big Top Souvenirs remains closed for its own refurbishment. Disney has not announced when the merchandise location will reopen, but the return of Pete’s Silly Sideshow is another sign that Storybook Circus is getting back to full strength.
