Guests strolling through EPCOT’s World Showcase may notice a few extra walls around the Canada Pavilion right now as work continues in several areas of the popular pavilion.

Construction walls have been installed around portions of the Canada Pavilion, blocking off some of the scenic pathways and viewing areas. Disney has not announced exactly what work is taking place, although the project appears to involve portions of the pavilion’s rockwork and landscaping. The Canada Pavilion is known for its dramatic rocky scenery, waterfalls, gardens, and towering recreation of Château Laurier, making even routine maintenance a little more complicated than simply bringing in a fresh coat of paint.
One of the more noticeable impacts of the work is the temporary closure of the wheelchair-accessible walkway through the pavilion. Guests who need the accessible entrance for Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 can still experience the attraction, with access currently being provided through the attraction’s exit area instead.

There is currently no announced completion date for the work, so guests visiting EPCOT in the coming weeks may continue to encounter construction walls while exploring the Great White North. Hopefully it will not be too long before the walls come down and the Canada Pavilion is looking rock-solid once again.
