Celebrate AAPI Month with a Frozen Mandarin Fusion drink at Joffrey’s Disney Springs location
When it comes to magical experiences and culinary delights, Disney Springs is a go-to destination for visitors traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Colombia is a new destination for Adventures By Disney
Beginning in 2024, Encanto fans can experience sights and sounds from the hit movie in an all-new way. Colombia, the country that provided the inspiration for the film, is being added to the list of Adventures By Disney destinations, along with Canadian provinces Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and New Zealand.
Adventures By Disney, the renowned provider of immersive guided tours, has once again expanded its portfolio of captivating destinations. Among its newest offerings is the enchanting country of Colombia. With its vibrant culture, rich history, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality, Colombia is a perfect addition to the Adventures By Disney portfolio.
Activities incorporated new Colombia itinerary include:

Touring a Colombian coffee farm in the Coffee Region

Immersive Experience Inspired by Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” debuts at CAMP’s New Store at Ashford Lane
CAMP, The Family Experience Company, invites you to dive into a world of wonder at its newest experience, Disney The Little Mermaid x CAMP. Disney The Little Mermaid x CAMP will open on Saturday, June 3rd at CAMP’s new location at The Ashford Lane Lifestyle Property located at 4500 Olde Perimeter Way in Dunwoody. The 14,000-square-foot store — the largest of all CAMP locations — will contain 3,500 square feet of retail space with toys, clothing, accessories, and a slime creation station (“The Schmutz Bar”). In addition to retail and The Little Mermaid experience, CAMP will feature “The CAMPitheater” — a performance space for live events — and three reservable party rooms for youngsters’ birthdays.
“Following the stellar success of our most recent collaboration, Disney Encanto x CAMP, which debuted in NYC, we can’t wait to make memories together with Atlanta families when we open our newest show next month, ” said Ben Kaufman, Co-Founder and CEO of CAMP.

Missing Disney World Cast Member Constance Lynn Campbell was Found Dead
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the missing Disney World Cast Member that was reported over the weekend Constance Lynn Campbell has been found dead.
The Disney World Cast Member went missing on the morning of Friday, April 28th before leaving for her job at the Animal Kingdom.
According to Click Orlando she had been found dead in a hotel room in Osceola County. The sheriff’s office says there are no signs of foul play and the investigation is ongoing.
No further details have been released.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends, and co-workers.
New Jazz Kitchen Sign Installed at Downtown Disney District
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney has been under refurbishment for a few months. Now, the construction walls are gone and the restaurant is just Jazz Kitchen.
Earlier this month, the iconic saxophone entrance marquee was removed. It’s now been replaced with a bright orange and pink logo. The new theming gives the restaurant a cleaner look and atmosphere of “vibrant California energy”.
The Disneyland Resort website describes the retheming as: “Get ready for the updated Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, which will spring to life over the next few weeks! Visitors can soon enjoy a fresh approach to the menu, incorporating a vibrant California energy while staying true to the heart of New Orleans. Please check back for the latest on hours, menus and more.”
The Express Window, now called “Beignets Expressed”, is still closed for renovation.
While there, we also noticed new tables and chairs in the outdoor seating areas. The tabletops are gray and the seats are a vibrant orange. The color really pops! There’s also a lot of greenery around the area.

Disney Characters Debut New Disney Cruise Line 25th Anniversary Looks
Our favorite Disney characters have brand new outfits for the Disney Cruise Line 25th anniversary. During the Silver Anniversary at Sea, characters will don outfits that feature swirling designs reminiscent of ocean waves and multi-toned fabric. Take a look!
Chip & Dale have matching blue and white striped sailor shirts and white caps with a blue swirl design. Pluto has a new 25th anniversary collar along with a white and blue cap. Goofy has a blue and white striped shirt, flowy white pants with a blue patch, and a cute white and blue hat.
Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse have new outfits as well! Mickey wears light blue pants, a shimmery blue jacket with white and gold accents, and a white captain’s hat with blue waves. Minnie’s outfit coordinates with Mickey’s. She has flowy white pants with light blue stripes, a light blue shimmery jacket, a matching captain’s hat, and lovely blue heels.
We can’t forget about Donald and Daisy! Donald wears a blue and white stripe sailor shirt and a white and blue hat. Daisy wears a magnificent blue and white dress with a blue hat and heels.
Along with the new character outfits, the 25th anniversary sailings will also feature new food, new merchandise, new entertainment, and more!

Disney World Refurbishment & Closure Schedule for May 2023
While no one wants Disney World to have closures while they’re there, refurbishments are inevitable. Here is the closure schedule for Walt Disney World this month. Luckily, there aren’t many closures this month.
Rock n Roller Coaster – closed through summer 2023
Fantasmic – closed May 1-2, 2023
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The Boneyard – Closed May 1 to June 12, 2023
While Epcot still has a lot of construction going on, there are no planned closures at this time. Magic Kingdom is also closure-free for this month as the parks get ready for summer guests.

All New Silver Anniversary at Sea Details Revealed for Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line’s Silver Anniversary at Sea kicked off yesterday! Disney shared more details about all of the offerings available during this special season.
To celebrate the signature color of the celebration – Shimmering Seas – here’s a first look as all your favorite Disney friends join Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse with coordinated anniversary looks! While your favorite characters will don outfits that feature swirling designs reminiscent of ocean waves and multi-toned fabric, you can get in the action with your own shimmering ensemble.
Themed Food & Beverage
The “Silver Anniversary at Sea” won’t just be pleasing to the eyes and ears, it will be a celebration for your taste buds as well! Sweets treats made just for the season include a 25th cupcake, a Mickey chocolate sphere, chocolate cream cookie, Captain Minnie crisped rice treat – and if that’s not enough, signature desserts in the family dining venues will be getting a tasty enhancement with a special 25th chocolate piece to add to their already stunning presentation!
For those over 21, the signature Jubilee by the Sea cocktail – complete with sparkly, silver dusting and a shimmering blue sugar rim – will be available at select lounges, while a special anniversary Coca-Cola bottle, specialty coffee mug, 25th anniversary beer mug and a “Silver Anniversary at Sea” popcorn bucket will provide dual use both on your cruise and as a special keepsake at home.
New Entertainment
In 1998, Disney Cruise Line made history as the first cruise line ever to produce a fireworks show at sea, and these sparkling displays have remained a quintessential part of the Disney Cruise Line experience since. During most Bahamian, Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises this summer that are four nights and longer, the night skies will light up with a shimmering new show that will uphold the cherished Disney tradition of fireworks and honor Disney’s continuing legacy of adventure. The dazzling spectacle will be set to the tunes of iconic and beloved Disney music and will be anchored by the new signature song.
Also in honor of the “Silver Anniversary at Sea,” Disney is reimagining the time-honored tradition of a Captain’s Reception into the Shimmering Seas Soiree, a regal gathering with all the pomp and circumstance this milestone deserves. On one evening each cruise, guests will be invited to join their ship’s captain, cruise director and some favorite Disney friends in the atrium for a festive anniversary toast.
Shimmering Touches
Throughout the 25th anniversary celebration, you will notice shimmering touches across all five ships, as well as special décor in Disney Cruise Line terminals and a limited-time look for Key to the World cards. On board, shimmering blue accents will adorn each ship’s atrium, while a special anniversary icon will provide the picture-perfect backdrop for a commemorative photo.
Speaking of picture-perfect, the celebratory season isn’t limited to just the high seas! Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island in The Bahamas, is also celebrating 25 years and will be decked out with anniversary decorations, along with a special surprise shimmering makeover to Mount Rustmore, a guest-favorite photo spot.
Themed Merchandise
The Shimmering Seas collection features light blue colorways and sparkling fabrics that are reminiscent of sunshine reflecting upon turquoise waters, along with festive silver accents. Shimmering accessories include a new Loungefly backpack and ear headband, new clothing pieces – including a spirit jersey and embroidered Nike polo – and a new line of commemorative jewelry. You can also plan to save a little room in your suitcase for other limited-time gifts, including a “Silver Anniversary at Sea” ornament, trading pin and collectible ship replica.
Castaway Club Gifts
The newest Castaway Club surprises are hitting staterooms this summer in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Disney Cruise Line! The Castaway Club gifts include a Disney Cruise Line tote bag, lanyard, wet/dry pouch, a beach towel, and tumblers. The gifts are based off of which Castaway Club level the guests are.
Castaway Club members who sail during the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” this summer will also receive a limited-edition framed art print (one per stateroom) to commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime celebration while supplies last. As shown above, this design was created by Disney artist Joe Kaminski, whose work is featured in The Art of Disney galleries, Disney resort hotels and Disney Cruise Line ships.
Sailings featuring “Silver Anniversary at Sea” festivities kick off across the fleet this month and will sail through September.
