The 100 years of wonder continues with the Disney100 Decades 1960s Collection coming to shopDisney and Disney Parks next month! We got a sneak peek of what is coming to celebrate this big milestone in the history of The Walt Disney Company.
The 1960s collection will honor the 101 Dalmatians and Jungle Book! shopDisney gave us a first look at one of the products and is adorable, a brown faux leather backpack with the iconic scene of Roger playing the piano while Anita, Nanny and all the puppies listen to it in the living room.

First Look at Illumination’s Minion Cafe Coming to Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando Resort is thrilled to announce exciting new information about the upcoming Minion Land on Illumination Ave. Created in collaboration between Universal’s renowned creative team and the esteemed filmmakers from Illumination, this immersive area promises a plethora of opportunities for guests to indulge in dining, laughter, and mischievous antics alongside the beloved Minions. Set to open this summer at Universal Studios Florida, Minion Land expands upon the incredible success of the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction, introducing a fresh collection of experiences tailored to guests of all ages, inspired by the adored Minions franchise.
ILLUMINATION’S MINION CAFE It’s Minions in the kitchen, mischief in the dining room, and tons of tasty food at the new Illumination’s Minion Cafe – the marquee dining location within Minion Land. This immersive new eatery offers something for every palate in a highly-entertaining dining experience that features three themed areas designed after beloved Minions Kevin, Stuart, Bob and Otto: the Kitchen – where guests will get a glimpse of the equipment and gear the Minions have used to whip up the cafe’s menu; the Breakroom – where guests can dine in the Minions’ break space that includes everything from “Office Safety Tips” to a vending machine stocked with mischievous items; and the Dining Room – a vibrant space adorned with colorful artwork courtesy of the Minions and more. Guests can also enjoy their meal on an outdoor patio that overlooks the fun of Minion Land.
Just as eye-catching as Minion Cafe’s incredibly-themed surroundings is its delicious menu – the latest example of how Universal Orlando’s award-winning culinary team continues to raise the bar when it comes to theme park dining. Guests of all ages can enjoy inventive, family-friendly fare featuring nearly 20 items inspired by memorable characters and staples from the Minions franchise, including eclectic “despica-bowls” such as Otto’s Noodle Bowl, Agnes’s Honeymoon Soup and Carl’s Crispy Cauliflower (vegan offering); delectable handhelds such as the Steak & “Cheese Ray” Sandwich; adorable desserts such as Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff; a kids’ menu for the “mini Minions” in the family that includes items like the Mini Boss’ Mega Melt; and so much more.
The Minion Cafe will also feature an express window with a limited menu for those looking to satisfy their mischievous cravings quickly and return to the mayhem in Minion Land.
BAKE MY DAY Topped with a massive pink cupcake that’s visible from anywhere in the land, Bake My Day is a whimsical retail location and bakery featuring a selection of Minion-themed sweet treats, including cupcakes, macarons, s’mores and more, along with exclusive Minion-inspired merchandise like apparel, plush, drinkware, accessories, keychains and more.
POP-A-NANA Banana-flavored popcorn, anyone? This walkup location features sweet and savory popcorn inspired by the Minions’ love for bananas. Here, guests may also find an assortment of cute popcorn buckets, including the Minion Selfie bucket.
FREEZE RAY POPS Guests can cool off with a visit to Freeze Ray Pops, featuring a variety of colorful popsicles inspired by Gru, the Minions and Vector – along with beverages.

Today, Universal Orlando Resort shares new details about all the ways guests can eat, laugh and make mischief with the Minions in the highly anticipated Minion Land on Illumination Ave. – an immersive new area created in partnership between Universal’s award-winning creative team and acclaimed filmmakers from Illumination. Opening this summer at Universal Studios Florida, the new land expands upon the wildly popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction and will debut a new collection of experiences for guests of all ages inspired by the beloved Minions franchise.
As soon as guests enter the land, they’ll be greeted by a fun, photo-worthy “Minion Land” marquee featuring 22 Minions before embarking on the mischief that awaits along Illumination Ave. From blasting their way to supervillain stardom in Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast to savoring tasty dishes at the Minion Cafe to snacking on banana-flavored popcorn at Pop-a-Nana and meeting fan-favorite characters along the way, here are details about the exciting new experiences that await in Minion Land:
ILLUMINATION’S VILLAIN-CON MINION BLAST Guests can put their villainous skills to the test in Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast – an all-new attraction where guests compete against each other in a fully interactive gaming experience that’s so much fun, it’s a crime. Afterward, guests exit through Evil Stuff, an all-new retail location where they can stock up on Villain-Con and Minions merchandise. More details about Villain-Con Minion Blast will be revealed soon.
ILLUMINATION THEATER Guests can meet, greet and interact with beloved characters like the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, plus new additions from the hit film “Sing” – Rosita, Gunter, and Johnny – at an outdoor Illumination Theater facade.
Guests can also discover murals, photo ops, and more throughout Minion Land that celebrate additional characters from popular Illumination films.

Tickets are on Sale Now for Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Multi-city Mall Tour Kicks Off This Week
Advance tickets are now available for Disney and Pixar’s all-new, original feature film “Elemental,” which opens only in theaters in one month on June 16th.
Tickets can be purchased on Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, or wherever tickets are sold.
An exciting multi-city mall tour that invites fans into the world of “Elemental”—a stunning locale only Pixar artists could create—kicks off this Friday, May 19, in New York City’s Brookfield Place through May 21. Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Experience, which hits Chicago (May 26-28), Dallas (June 2-4), Los Angeles (June 10-12), and San Francisco (June 16-18), offers an immersive thematic environment for visitors of all ages. Sponsored by Fandango, Dolby and I’m the Chef Too, the tour features fun film-themed activities like photo and video opportunities, a chance to draw with Pixar artists, a movie-ticket grab in a wind tunnel, plus giveaways, and special film content.
Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire-, Water-, Earth- and Air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted, and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, p.g.a., and executive produced by Pete Docter, “Elemental” features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel, and Brenda Hsueh with a story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman.
“Elemental” opens only in theaters on June 16, 2023.

Flexible Modification of Disneyland Resort Park Pass Reservations Introduced
Starting today, Disneyland guests can modify their park pass reservations without having to cancel the reservations first! This modification to the reservation system will make it easier for guests to be flexible with their plans.
This new feature lets Guests modify the date and/or park of their theme park reservations on Disneyland.com without having to cancel the reservation first, subject to park reservation availability and applicable block out dates. Guests using the app will be redirected to the website.
Guests will be able to make modifications to their theme park reservations up to the day of their reservation before they enter the theme park(s) and Magic Key holders will continue to have a one-day modification window.
Park Pass Reservations
Park pass reservations are still required for guests visiting the Disneyland Resort along with valid park admission. Those reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance. Guests with park hopper tickets will select the first theme park they wish to visit to begin their day; then they can visit the other park later that day after 11:00 AM and go between the parks (based on availability).

There is a new Magic Shot at Magic Kingdom and we are loving it! The Watercolor Magic Shot turns your photo into a painting while stylistically removing other guests from the background so your friends and family are the focus of the photo.

This Magic Shot is available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed across from Partners Statue (see below for the exact location pinpointed on a map) at Magic Kingdom Park for a limited time from 9 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.
This new Magic Shot is just one of many offered by Disney PhotoPass Service! Photographers currently offer almost 100 classic Magic Shots around Walt Disney World Resort, which add fun effects or favorite characters to your photo.
Photographers also offer Super Zoom Magic Shots – now available in all four theme parks – that capture photos and videos of you from unique angles at some of the most iconic locations in the parks.
And be sure to enjoy the 360-degree Tiny World Magic Shots (also available at all four theme parks), because at Walt Disney World, the surroundings are so beautiful that every angle should be captured! Discover New Summer Flavors at Jaleo in Disney Springs
New summer flavors have arrived at Jaleo in Disney Springs! The restaurant is unveiling a series of new, tantalizing dishes just in time for summer dining season.
As the restaurant’s most significant menu change since its opening in 2019, guests can expect a number of new Spanish-inspired tapas to pair with signature cocktails and sangrias, plus larger plates like whole roasted branzino prepared with potatoes, olive oil and fresh herbs and an exciting delicacy, Secreto Iberico, cooked on a Basque grill and served with Pan con Tomate. Additional dishes include a refreshing gazpacho, classic chilled Spanish soup made with tomato, cucumbers and green bell peppers, and Atún Crudo con Aguacate, thinly sliced tuna served with avocado and a citrus dressing.

Maleficent Dragon Fire Effect Returns to the Magic Kingdom
The Maleficent dragon at Magic Kingdom is once again breathing fire! Guests can see this magnificent fire effect during the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Last month the Maleficent dragon caught fire during Fantasmic at Disneyland. Afterwards, Disney temporarily suspended similar fire effects at all Disney parks for a while. Disney’s statement read, “We are temporarily suspending fire effects similar to those used at Disneyland Park’s Fantasmic! at select shows and entertainment experiences globally out of an abundance of caution following the Fantasmic! prop fire at Disneyland Park.”
One of the suspended fire effects was the fire the Maleficent dragon breathes during the parade at Magic Kingdom. Now, the effect has returned! According to Cast Members, the effect is still suspended in some areas of the park due to the proximity of flammable materials.
Performances of Fantasmic at Disneyland are still paused and there’s no set date for the show’s return.
