Ravensburger announces Disney Lorcana Expanding to 10 New Countries in 2024
Ravensburger, the renowned publisher of top-rated board games and premium toys and puzzles, has just announced that the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG) will expand its reach to ten additional countries in 2024. The countries where the game will be introduced include Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Mexico, and the expansion will commence with the release of the third set in early 2024.
This expansion effectively doubles the global presence of the Disney Lorcana TCG, which originally debuted earlier this year in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Filip Francke, Global Head of Games for Ravensburger stated, “The appeal and excitement for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game goes beyond borders, with fans around the world anticipating its arrival.” Francke added, “Not only are we bringing the Disney Lorcana TCG to players in new countries and in new languages, but we also plan to reprint the first two sets of the game so both current and new markets have access to them.”

In addition to its expansion into new markets, the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG) will now feature Italian as its fourth language option, commencing with the release of the third set. Italian joins the existing language options of English, French, and German for the game.
In response to the heightened demand that followed the game’s initial launch, Ravensburger announced plans in September to reprint the first set of the Disney Lorcana TCG, “The First Chapter.” This reprint will also include the second set, “Rise of the Floodborn,” and is anticipated to be available in North America for the 2023 Holiday season and in Europe by January 2024.
