Yesterday Disney dropped the news that they would release Holiday Announcements for Walt Disney World on Thursday.
One of the announcements expected to be announced is a NEW Holiday Ticketed Event similar to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party coming to Hollywood Studios according to WDW Magic.
Get ready for some scandalously magical holiday fun! Disney’s Hollywood Studios is set to steal the spotlight with its alternative Christmas bash, aiming to give Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party a run for its money. This star-studded event promises a sleigh-load of exclusive entertainment and unprecedented access to the park’s thrilling attractions.
Hold onto your Santa hats because the buzz is that the beloved nighttime extravaganza, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, is making a highly-anticipated comeback!
Let’s spill the tea on this yuletide adventure to the North Pole, darlings. Led by none other than those mischievous elves, Wayne and Lanny, straight out of ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” it’s bound to be a festive feast for the senses.

Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration: The Ultimate Destination for America’s Summer Road Trip
Guests to this year’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration at Dollywood (June 17- Aug. 6) have a range of experiences to enjoy throughout the day and into the night at one of the nation’s top theme park destinations. With the addition of the park’s newest thrilling attraction, Big Bear Mountain, this surely is a summer to remember in the Smokies.
Two of Dollywood’s biggest summertime traditions return due to tremendous feedback from park guests. “Dollywood’s Sweet Summer Nights” returns bigger, brighter, and bolder with even more drones lighting up the night sky high above Pigeon Forge Park. A first-of-its-kind theme park spectacle when it debuted in 2021, the guest-favorite is back with a show that combines 500 high-tech drones with a world-class fireworks extravaganza designed to put an exclamation point on the evening.
As part of the Sweet Summer Nights experience, a DJ and energetic dancers bring fun to the streets of Wildwood Grove during two dance parties that will have everyone on their feet. As the party nears its conclusion, the celebration takes to the sky as the drones, operated by Dollywood’s partner Dronisos, launch into the air for an unforgettable display.
The Gazillion Bubble Show also returns in 2023 with a mesmerizing burst of excitement for guests in DP’s Celebrity Theater. The show provides many moments where guests will be surrounded by “gazillions” of bubbles for a fun and unpredictable experience that captivates the entire family.
Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration features so many fun ways for guests to interact with water during their Dollywood day. Interactive shows “Liquid Beats” and “Hydro Jive Junction” will have guests splashing and singing along during refreshing performances.
Guests can cool off on a hot summer day in the wonderful water hose fountain installation found in Market Square during “Liquid Beats.” This interactive performance brings together dozens of water hoses to create a fountain that delivers cooling excitement to guests of all ages. During “Liquid Beats,” a landscaping-themed percussion troupe maintains the natural beauty of the Smokies, as they bring this new entertainment vision to guests. In Jukebox Junction, “Hydro Jive Junction” features a musical maintenance worker trying to repair a faulty fire hydrant. Dancing ensues as the fire hydrant turns into a refreshing sprinkler for guests to enjoy, as the cast sings and dances to familiar favorites such as “Singing in the Rain” and “Splish Splash.”
Music is the soundtrack of our lives, especially during a summer family road trip. Dollywood’s Entertainment Team brings to life the road trip “vibe” and takes guests on a summertime journey with the return of “Good Vibes” and its playlist of summer road trip classics. The Tones and Good Vibes have summer playlists that will have families wanting to hit cruise control and sing along.
An authentically-Southern summer greets guests as soon as they enter the park. The Dollywood entry statement in front of Showstreet Palace Theater welcomes guests with themed décor, including Kite Sky. Throughout the park, larger-than-life activities, including Jumbo Backyard Games, Parachute Play Party, Noodle Takeover (a dazzling array of suspended pool noodles hanging in the summer sky) and more, allow parents to relive beloved childhood pastimes while creating new memories with their kids. The Bubble Foam Zone will cool guests off on the hottest of summer days by covering families head to toe in a giant bubble-filled plaza.
Two new experiences highlight the festival this summer. Oscillation, created by The Urban Conga, features giant crystals that come alive through movement. The installation acts like a theremin, an unusual musical instrument that is played without touch. As guests walk toward the piece, it plays different sounds and pitches which vary based on the distance from it. Also new is Noodleville, a walkthrough experience that features 520 pool noodles in a 12 ft. by 24 ft. area. Kids—and kids at heart—will enjoy walking through this fun, tactile installation.
It’s story time again as The Imagination Playhouse showcases three favorite books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, including “Coat of Many Colors,” based on Parton’s song and children’s book of the same name. This season’s featured shows are “Coat of Many Colors,” “Violet the Pilot” and “The Little Engine That Could.” The shows feature sing-along songs that kids of all ages enjoy. Thanks to Penguin Books, guests can enjoy several decorative and interactive photo opportunities for children and their families in the lobby of Heartsong theater prior to each show.
Dollywood’s culinary team is cooking up the tastes of summer with mouthwatering hibachi skillet chicken, ultimate pork rind nachos and antipasto salad. Guests also will enjoy sweet treats, including a s’mores funnel cake and refreshing paleta flavors including mango and cookies & cream. Thanks to the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration Tasting Pass, the tastes of summer are now available with a convenient option to sample multiple items for one price. The tasting pass, which can be purchased in the park or online, is $36.99 plus tax or $33.99 plus tax for gold and diamond passholders. The tasting pass is available each day of the festival.
During Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, guests can take advantage of extended summer hours allowing them to make memories until 9:30 p.m.
Guests at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa also can soak up the summer fun and sun during Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration. Filled with live entertainment, family activities, spa specials and more, the resort is the perfect home away from home for guests on their summer adventures.
Resort guests will enjoy daily live entertainment with daily roaming performers including The Roberts Sisters and Willow Osborne. On select nights of the week, a variety of performers will delight guests in the Atrium, including Owen Tharp, Melissa Hale, Tommy Cox, Jesse Blue Eads and more. Guests can see the Sweet Summer Nights fireworks display each night from The Swimming Hole side of the resort.
Additionally, Camp DW offers a variety of festival-inspired activities each day including butterfly canvas painting, magnet painting, tie dye, dream jars and more. On select days, Camp DW will host the Giant Beach Ball Bash and pool games at The Swimming Hole Outdoor Pool. In the evenings, families can join Camp DW hosts around the wood-burning fire pit for complimentary s’mores roasting and bedtime stories in The Barn from 7 – 8 p.m. Guests also will enjoy Family Movie Nights and Pillow Making on select evenings.
Special summer-themed menu items are cooked up by the resort’s culinary team, while festival-inspired treatments are available at The Spa.

New Big Thunder Mountain Collection Coming To Disneyland Paris Soon!
You will have the wildest style in the wilderness with this Big Thunder Mountain Collection coming soon to Disneyland Paris! This joins other collections inspired in Tower of Terror, It’s a Small World and Phantom Manor, we need them all!
The ear headband features Big Thunder Mountain with the attraction logo on one ear and the mine train on the other. A cowboy hat takes place in the middle for a western touch and the famous “The Wildest Ride In The Wilderness” saying along the headband.
For apparel, a cream shirt with Big Thunder Mountain artwork on the front and logo on a sleeve will be available, as well as, a blue shirt with four pockets on the front and the Big Thunder Logo on the back.
You can also get a fun puzzle and keychain with three different charms! Other items include a mug, baseball cap and a golden nugget from the Big Thunder Mining Company in a clear case!
New Phantom Manor Collection Coming Soon To Disneyland Paris!
This Phantom Manor Collection is joining the other merchandise collections based in iconic attractions at Disneyland Paris We don’t have an exact release date yet but is expected to be very soon, in the meantime, take a look at everything available in this collection:
The ear headband features the phantom on one ear and the mansion on the other at nighttime with ghost flying out. In the middle, the traditional Minnie Mouse bow is replaced by Henry Ravenswood’s hat for some extra spooky touch.
For apparel, a white t-shirt with the Phantom Manor facade and logo in black, gray and green colors.
You can also document all your adventures to regions beyonds on this deep purple journal with the Phantom Manor logo on the front, Madame Leota on the corner of each page and a matching pen.

Showtimes for Disney Movie Magic have disappeared from the website through August 11, which is the latest date available on the calendar.
Disney has not made an official announcement regarding the show. It typically begins at 8:45 pm every night prior to Wonderful World of Animation. That show still has showtimes every night in June at 9 pm. Beginning in July, however, that show disappears from the calendar as well.

LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. Announces Opening Date
Merlin Entertainments, a global leader in location-based entertainment, recently announced that LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C., offering highly interactive indoor LEGO play for families to enjoy together, will host a grand opening ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Aug. 9 prior to the attraction being open to the public. The 32,000-square-foot family attraction will be located in Virginia’s Springfield Town Center and will be a must-visit for locals and visitors with children ages 2 through 12.
Enthusiastic families can be the first to experience the new attraction with “First to Play Days,” taking place Thursday, Aug. 10 through Sunday, Aug. 13. Tickets will be available for $28.99 per person starting this Thursday, June 15. In addition to being the first to experience this immersive attraction, “First to Play Days” guests will be able to extend their fun with the exclusive opportunity to upgrade to an annual pass at a discounted rate.
Starting Monday, Aug. 14, LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. will be fully open to the public. Online advance ticket purchases are always recommended.
LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. is a next-generation LEGO Discovery Center, reimagined with a brand-new look and design, allowing more family learning through play activities. A team of playmakers and Master Model Builders, lead by Master Model Builder Andrew Litterst, will also deliver fun, inspirational, and creative workshops to guests.

Disney has shared on Instagram when select Disney destinations will announce their holiday offerings this week.
Stay tuned tomorrow, June 13, for Disneyland’s holiday announcements. The Instagram post features an image of holiday wrapping paper with ornaments featuring Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty Castle, snowflakes, and holly berries. There’s also the Disneyland “D” logo. The caption reads, “It’s beginning to LOOK a lot like Christmas”.
On Wednesday, June 14, Disney Cruise Line will announce its holiday offerings! The IG post features an image of green wrapping paper with different ocean life, bubbles, and the Disney Cruise Line logo. The caption reads, “Time to DECK the halls”.
Finally, Walt Disney World’s holiday announcements will come on June 15! The Instagram post is an image of red wrapping paper with snowflakes that feature Hollywood Tower Hotel and hidden Mickeys. There’s also music notes and stars on the wrapping paper. The caption reads, “Have a HOLLY jolly Christmas”.
We don’t know any specifics about what might be announced but we can’t wait to find out!

Most Un-Bearably Cute Coaster Ride Video From Adventureland Resort. Cuteness knows no boundaries when it comes to theme parks. It is not always contained to local Central Florida parks. Adventureland Resorts in Des Moines, Iowa is ride-testing a brand new coaster due to open this summer called the Flying Viking and invited the local plushie bear population to test out the safety.

Flying Viking and Draken Falls
The highlight of the 2023 season is the return of the log ride, Draken Falls. The beloved ride was a staple at the park from opening day in 1974 through Labor Day 2015. It was replaced in 2016 by the Monster roller coaster. Working with ride manufacturer Zamperla, Adventureland has been able to bring the beloved ride back better than ever. The ride will end with the same 40 foot drop, but will also include an aerial panoramic turnaround and an airtime hill.
The new log ride will be even better with the addition of Adventureland’s seventh roller coaster, Flying Viking. The coaster will be intertwined with the log ride, adding even more thrill to both rides. Climbing to a height of 50 feet, this coaster is perfect for Viking invaders from young kids to adults.
