Evermore Orlando Resort Near Walt Disney World Celebrates Topping Off of Evermore Bay

Evermore Orlando Resort, a new, first-of-its-kind, $1 billion luxury vacation rental destination bordering Walt Disney World, celebrated a key construction milestone today when key partners from Evermore, Dart Interests and D.L. Meacham Construction topped off its signature water feature, Evermore Bay, by ceremonially emptying water into the 8-acre lagoon.

It completed a process that started nine weeks ago, and lasted 38 days, totaling more than 17 million gallons of water filled at 1,050 gallons per minute. The lagoon is 12 feet at its deepest point and 8 feet deep at the center.

Ideally located in the center of Evermore Orlando Resort, Evermore Bay is an alluring crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons – the first in the Orlando area – appealing to guests of all ages year-round. Evermore Bay will be complemented by an expansive 20-acre tropical beach complex with zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private fire-pits, and an aquatic adventure area with a waterslide, rope swing, and watersports of all kinds.

The expansive luxury vacation destination is scheduled to open in December 2023, featuring 69 houses ranging from five to eleven bedrooms, 206 four-bedroom flats, and 41 two and four-bedroom villas, totaling nearly 1,500 bedrooms in a variety of configurations. Also featured is a 433-room Conrad Orlando Resort. All accommodation options offer guests the peace of mind of a singularly owned and managed resort with the space and flexibility of a vacation rental home.

This frightfully fun experience returns to the Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 11th to November 1st, 2023.

This fan-favorite event returns to the Magic Kingdom this fall, complete with spellbinding entertainment and favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best.

Here are the dates for the 2023 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party:

Tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party are on sale now for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

Tickets may be purchased by all guests starting July 6th, 2023.

Ticket Prices range from $109 to $199 depending on which date you pick. Typically those dates closer to Halloween are the most expensive.

I was able to get in with no line this morning around 8 am.

Walt Disney World’s Victoria & Albert’s has been named the best restaurant in the United States! Trips to Discover used two types of analysis to evaluate 3-Star Michelin, Five-Star Forbes, and AAA Five-Diamond-designated restaurants. A statistical analysis examines customer review counts and ratings while a qualitative review sentiment analysis extracts feelings, emotions, and nuanced points of view from customer reviews.

The article names the 10 best U.S. award-winning restaurants. At the top of the list is Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

There is also a dress code for the restaurant. Guests are expected to dress accordingly in semi-formal/formal attire that respects the restaurant’s elegant and opulent aesthetic. Guests also must be at least 10 years old in order to dine there.

Newborn Zebra Foals Make Savanna Debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Two adorable Hartmann’s mountain zebra foals have made their Savanna debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Both can be seen delighting guests on Kilimanjaro Safaris at the park.

After spending their first couple of weeks backstage bonding with their moms, both foals joined their dad Domino on the savanna June 23.

Cricket, who was born to first-time mom Juno on May 29, loves the water and has been seen splashing around in puddles on the savanna. She is getting more independent and starting to explore her surroundings away from mom. Cricket’s name is a nod to Disney-Pixar’s “A Bug’s Life” and ties in with her mom Juno’s nickname of June Bug.

Dot, who was born to first-time mom Aziza on June 4, is a little more energetic than her sister and can be seen darting around the savanna getting her “zoomies” out. Dot is named for the dots on a domino, which is a nod to her father’s name, and also ties in with the film.

Just as they have different personalities, their stripes vary, too.

Each Hartmann’s mountain zebra – whose stripes stop right at their bellies unlike common zebras whose stripes wrap around their entire body – is born with unique stripe patterns, and no two are the same, just like human fingerprints!

Dot has connecting stripes on the back of her legs like her mom Aziza and a triangle shape on the front of both of her shoulders that resembles an upside-down checkmark.

Cricket’s stripes on the back of her legs are more jagged and don’t connect, and she has a stripe on both shoulders that is forked, resembling a wishbone.

Hartmann’s mountain zebras are found in sub-Saharan Africa and are a vulnerable species due to habitat loss and hunting. These foals’ births are part of the Species Survival Plan, which is overseen by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and ensures responsible breeding and genetic diversity of hundreds of animal species.

Both foals are adjusting well to life on the savanna and are very curious about their surroundings. Guests can find these adorable new additions and the rest of the herd on Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Advance tickets are now on sale for Disney’s frighteningly fun adventure “Haunted Mansion,” which opens in theaters on July 28. Tickets can be purchased on Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, or wherever tickets are sold.

This includes tickets for “Disney’s Haunted Mansion Early Access Screening” taking place on Wednesday, July 26 in Dolby Cinema at AMC theaters nationwide.
