At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, two cherished locations are set to reopen their doors on July 27, welcoming hungry guests with delectable delights and a refreshing new ambiance. The eagerly awaited return of Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern promises an unforgettable dining experience you won’t want to miss.
Embracing the beauty of the great outdoors, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground invites guests to indulge in the enchantment of sleeping under the stars and exploring woodland trails. The newly revamped menus at Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern perfectly complement the resort’s laid-back style, offering the dining flexibility desired by all guests, no matter how they plan to enjoy their day at Walt Disney World.
Both dining venues have undergone a complete transformation, accentuating the resort’s charming and historic essence at the heart of Walt Disney World Resort. Warm wooden furnishings, beamed ceilings, and rustic accents create a welcoming atmosphere for guests to savor their dining experience.
Let’s start with Trail’s End Restaurant, which has been wonderfully reimagined as a quick-service eatery, boasting an array of mouthwatering items to satiate your appetite. A smokehouse-style pizza topped with house-smoked brisket, sausage, and pepperoni and a delicious roasted vegetable pie. And yes, classic pepperoni and cheese are still available.
In addition to these tasty offerings, the Market-style Selections are filled with a variety of items with all the fixins to fit your fancy. Before heading back to your campsite, mosey on up to the Hot Grab and Go section where you can pick from the proteins. This area features pecan-smoked whole chicken or brisket, and a rack of pork ribs. And, of course, no trip to Fort Wilderness is complete without fried chicken! Sides will be available by the pound including macaroni & cheese, plant-based cowboy beans, and mashed potatoes.
These aren’t the only bites to be had. You can order classics like cheeseburgers, plant-based vegetable burgers, chicken nuggets, and french fries. For some comfort food, the Homestyle Meals feature cornbread, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes with gravy and your choice of half a slab of barbecued ribs or two pieces of fried chicken. You can also treat yourself to hand-scooped ice cream and specialty coffees, like the Wilderness Latte with flavors of chocolate and hazelnut.
To keep refreshed, there are also a variety of beverages and snacks on the go, like the new Chicken Wrap featuring the new house-made blueberry BBQ sauce or the returning favorite Pioneer Berry Salad.
The true star of the show is the lineup of new and returning sweets to be featured in the market, a house-made bakery. The pastry team dusted off old favorite recipes from years past like the Banana Pudding, Carrot Cake Cupcake, Blueberry Bread Pudding, and the legendary Strawberry Shortcake from Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, which will be available in a single-serve portion! If you love trying different flavors, then you’re in luck because new to the menu is A Trio of Sliders.This features a pulled pork slider with BBQ sauce and coleslaw, brisket slider with Carolina BBQ and pickled onions, and a buffalo chicken slider with house-made blue cheese dressing and dill pickles served with seasoned french fries.
The new Chicken Bites are going to satisfy you and your taste buds. Pick your favorite sauce among buffalo, garlic-parmesan, or blueberry BBQ. These bites are also served with celery, house-made ranch, blue cheese, and seasoned french fries. Fun fact – the new blueberry BBQ sauce was developed by Chef Julie Hrywnak and the culinary team. The can’t-miss Charcuterie Board addition features a selection of meats and cheeses with house-made bread and butter pickles, tomato jam, cornbread crostini, and sesame lavash.
Some delicious new plant-based offerings include the Crispy Cauliflower paired with a tasty garlic aïoli. This fan-favorite from the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue plant-based menu is also gluten/wheat friendly! Give Kids The World Presents An Evening With Pat Sajak, Linda Larkin, and Jonathan Freeman
Three of pop culture’s most iconic stars will share their unique perspectives and insights in an engaging, highly interactive format this summer as part of Give Kids The World Village’s popular An Evening With… speaker series. Proceeds will benefit the Village, an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost.
On Saturday, August 12, beginning at 5:30 pm, iconic Wheel of Fortune Host Pat Sajak – who recently announced his retirement next year after 41 seasons – will discuss his legendary career and host a Q&A session. Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería Opening Date Announced for San Fransokyo Square
The Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería is opening today, July 25! The Cerveceria is an enchanting beer garden located in the new San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure.
The newest venue at San Fransokyo Square is the Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería, hosted by Karl Strauss Craft Brewery. With its proximity to Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and the diverse nature of this corner of the square, you may see descriptors of the beer in Spanish and Japanese, in addition to English.
Just outside the facade of the brewery is an inviting beer garden, decorated with lights and papel picado—elaborate designs cut into sheets of paper—featuring some of San Fransokyo’s favorite heroes. Animated neon signs and a “Port of San Fransokyo” waterfront marquee also add to the fun and excitement of this area after dark, when the illuminated beer garden charmingly beckons.

Disneyland Warns Guests Not to Buy Reseller Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets
Oogie Boogie Bash tickets sold out the first day they were available for the general public to purchase. Now, we’re seeing tickets show up on sales sites at inflated prices.
Disney officials are now warning guests not to purchase event tickets from other sites. Sites like EBay and Craigslist have Oogie Boogie Bash tickets listed for hundreds of dollars. However, Disney’s event tickets cannot be transferred or resold.
“Teams at the resort have an established process for investigating resold tickets, the result of which may be voided tickets where appropriate,” said a Disneyland official.
A similar message is posted on the Disneyland website as well as the confirmation page when tickets are purchased.
Magic Key Holders were able to purchase tickets on June 27. Those sold out within hours. Tickets opened to the general public on June 29 but only a limited number were sold as the site has technical issues. The tickets went up for sale again on July 11 and all sold out that same day.
If you did not secure an event ticket, do not purchase from another site as there is a good chance you will be turned away at the gate.

Labels Added to Hand Dryers in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Following Guest Confusion. If you are heading off the planet to Batuu in Disney’s Hollywood Studios be prepared to learn a different language, or at least keep a translator aka Disney Play app handy. Aurebesh, is everywhere around Galaxy’s Edge. You can find the writing from restrooms to Smuggler’s Run.
Not that it is a hard language to learn, but some of us do not have the time to spend learning it prior to vacation. Plus who wants to learn a whole language to enjoy a vacation?
For those who visit Batuu in Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge, and who do not understand or know what a hand dryer is (Okay, seriously? Which one of you didn’t know this?), Disney has labeled them in English.
Apparently, some people were confused by the metal device that looks like a hand dryer above the sinks in the bathrooms and did not know it was a hand dryer because it was labeled in Aurebesh.

Walls Up at the Entrance of Muppet Courtyard. It has been a hot minute since we got a chance to see our favorite Muppets in 3D. Since last we went Disney has started construction around the small landscaped area and walls in between the Muppet Courtyard aka Grand Ave., and Baseline Tap House.
While construction is going on, the Churro stand has been moved to the opposite side of the entrance to the Muppets, furthermore, the Guest Services has been moved across the street where Max and Goofy are doing a meet and greet.
No word yet on what Disney is working on, but we would imagine it is just a refurbishment and structural work on the walls. Nothing major. The main thing is with how far out the walls are it does shrink down the area for pedestrians walking in that area, and on a crowded day, it can get some congestion heading off the planet to Batuu.

Tiny World Magic Shot Photopass Returns to Star Tours in Hollywood Studios. Disney PhotoPass Service’s Tiny World Magic Shots make you feel like you’re on top of the world, and there’s no better fit for a photo op like that than at Star Tours in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Back in 2019 Disney Photopass 360 was available in Batuu and unfortunately, the 360 shot disappeared during the pandemic. back in June of 2021, Disney announced the return of the 360 photopass to Hollywood Studios, this time at Star Tours.
We have not seen it in action for a few months and were told it was because Photopass was hiring more and more photographers to make sure the guests could enjoy getting photo-ops from around the parks, also, we were told it depends on how hot it is and the weather.
Well, now it has returned and you should be able to capture this memory most mornings at the old Jedi Temple, in front of the massive AT-AT next to the entrance to Star Tours.
