Bananas Foster French Toast Returns to Olivia’s Cafe Due to Guest Demand
Guest-favorite Bananas Foster French Toast has returned to Olivia’s Cafe at Disney’s Old Key West Resort! This dish was so popular, the restaurant just had to bring it back.
The Bananas Foster French Toast is available during Brunch at Olivia’s Cafe. Brunch runs from 7:30 am to 2 pm daily. You won’t see this dish on the online menu but we recently got to enjoy it when we were there last week. The French toast is served with berries and the syrup had caramelized bananas.

New Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Exclusive Merchandise Available At Magic Kingdom!
Last night we attended the first Halloween party of the year and found new Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party exclusive merchandise that you can only get when you attend this spooktacular event at Magic Kingdom Park.
Let’s start with the spirit jerseys, the first one features an all over pattern of purple spiderwebs and Mickey icons at the bottom and “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” logo in neon green letters across the back. A must have if you are attending the party for sure!
The second spirit jersey features the Sanderson Sisters flying on their brooms on the back with the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” in orange across the back, the rest of the jersey features a sparkly pattern with stars. You can get both designs for $79.99 each.
There’s also a travel tumbler for $29.99 featuring Mickey Mouse dressed up as Dracula holding a jack-o-lantern with Cinderella castle in the back. You can also start your morning with a “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” mug featuring Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes ready for some trick or treating! The mug retails for $16.99.
A Hocus Pocus Stemless Glass by Corkcicle is available for $39.99, it features the Sanderson Sisters, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular logo and “witching hour returns!” text at the bottom. The rest of the glass is glittery black with silver stars all around.
Pin collectors will love to add these 4 new “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” pins to their collection, three of them feature Mickey & friends while the fourth one is inspired in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
Other stuff we found include a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Ornament with the party logo on the back and the Nightmare Before Christmas Mayor’s Car Bucket available only at the party.
McDonald’s & Marvel Team Up to Release a Special Sauce for Season 2 of Loki
McDonald’s is collaborating with Loki to conjure up a new special sauce ahead of the show’s season two premiere on Disney+. Loki drops on October 6th exclusively on the streaming service, but you can score this new dipping sauce in the coming weeks. McDonald’s started stirring up mischief on X (Formerly Twitter) on August 7th with a video.
The post features McDonald’s ads over the years with an ever so brief clip from the Loki Season 2 trailer. In the frame you can see Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie working at the iconic fast food chain. The new special sauce was leaked online showing a green lid with Marvel Studios and Loki branding. This might just be a branding promotion and not an actual new sauce, but we will have to wait for August 14th to find out.
Loki season two premiers on October 6th exclusively on Disney+. “Loki Special Sauce” will be available at McDonald’s locations starting on August 14th. Time slip to the nearest restaurant and give us a review in a comment.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party PhotoPass Magic Shots are a spooktacular way to remember your time at the party! The party began last night and the PhotoPass photographers have brewed up brand new spooky shots during the event, featuring Donald Duck’s mischievous nephews, the “Lonesome Ghosts,” Maleficent, and more. Plus, many of your favorite Magic Shots are returning this year, including the Headless Horseman and Oogie Boogie.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Now Completely Sold Out in August
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party now completely sold out for this month! If you want to attend this exclusive event, you’ll need to pick a date in September or October.
There are six party dates in August and all are now sold out. Last night, August 11, was the first night of the 2023 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The other party dates this month are:
August 15, 18, 22, 25, and 29
There are still quite a few dates available in September and October along with one in November. The following dates are still available:
As we get closer to the holiday, chances are good that more dates will sell out so you’ll want to purchase your tickets as soon as possible!

Also during the party, guests may have the opportunity to experience some of their favorite attractions including Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the newly opened TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. TRON Lightcycle / Run will use a virtual queue* during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, allowing guests to enjoy all the festivities while they wait to enter the Grid.

Star Tours Exterior Refurbishment Underway in Hollywood Studios
The Star Tours exterior refurbishment is currently underway in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Construction walls are up around the outside of the attraction.
Work has been happening since late July with scrims up around the Endor Forest. It appears the mural is being refreshed. Since the refurbishment is only on the exterior of the attraction, Star Tours remains open for guests to enjoy.

NEW Ribbon Wristbands Replace Old Plastic Admission Bracelets at Halloween Party
Those old plastic bracelets at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party have been replaced by ribbons for the 2023 year. The black ribbons have the event logo and can adjust to fit your wrist perfectly. The Halloween Party runs from August 11 to November 1.
Once the band is tightened to your wrist it cannot be loosened, so make sure you’re comfortable before you set out into the park. Locations for wristband distribution inside of the park are located at:
Monsters Inc., Laugh Floor
Tortuga Tavern
Magic Kingdom entrance turnstiles
Fantasy Faire

Updated Glow in the Dark Donald Candy Corn Sipper Available at Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party opened tonight at Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This special event offers exclusive snacks, unique character meet and greets, the special Boo to You Parade, unique fireworks spectaculars, stage shows, and more. Disney has rolled out their spooktacular offerings all day, and they gave us a glimpse at the updated glow in the dark Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper for 2023.
Disney also released a party exclusive popcorn bucket today. These novelties will be available at select locations through the park, while supplies last. For Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Mayor’s Car Bucket, there’s a limit of two per guest! Here are some other party specific highlights from this ticketed event:
Pirate Crew in Adventureland Adventureland will be taken over by a spirited pirate band and their crew.
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade will be more villainous than ever with the Sanderson Sisters Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle joining the parade.
New Powerline Pop-Up Parties “Stand Out” with Max Goof and his Powerline party pack at new pop-up parties throughout Magic Kingdom. Goof and his crew will power down Main Street U.S.A. ahead of Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.
The Seven Dwarfs Return– The Seven Dwarfs will be returning to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Storybook Circus.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Jack Skellington, returns to host this epic nighttime spectacular, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.
