Disney California Adventure to Host 2024 Anaheim Ducks Days

Disney California Adventure is once again hosting Anaheim Ducks Days! The Anaheim Ducks has teamed up with Disneyland Resort to host an expanded Anaheim Ducks Days on Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday, Feb. 23, 2024.

In celebration of the Ducks’ 30^th anniversary season, the fan-favorite event will take place over two days in Hollywood Land with new and returning in-park fan activities, memorable experiences, themed merchandise and specialty food and beverage items.

On Thursday, Feb. 22, Park guests can look forward to a celebratory cavalcade along the Disney California Adventure Park parade route, from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land, featuring some current Anaheim Ducks players. On Friday, Feb. 23, a Legacy Celebration cavalcade will feature select Anaheim Ducks alumni. Additionally, Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing will make special appearances throughout Ducks Days in Hollywood Land.

On Feb. 23, NHL fans visiting the park will have the opportunity to score everlasting memories and share the spotlight with the iconic Stanley Cup^®. This is a unique photo opportunity with one of the most famous trophies in all of sports for a select time at Paradise Gardens Park (“World of Color” viewing area) in Disney California Adventure Park. On both days, a historical look at Anaheim Ducks past, present and future will be on display in Hollywood Land featuring select jerseys and memorabilia.

Hollywood Land will be home to a dedicated Fan Zone, with music playing throughout both days. Park guests will have the opportunity to test their hockey skills, take part in meet and greets (space is limited; wristbands required), capture photo moments, begin a fun park-wide “seek and find” activity, learn to draw Disney ducks at Animation Academy and party with the Anaheim Ducks Power Players and DJs, including JoJo Maestrado and more! New this year, the action shifts into overtime on both evenings with energetic performances by Anaheim Ducks DJs and a live band.

Anaheim Ducks Days will also feature limited-time specialty menu items, including the Chocolate Mousse Cake from Schmoozies! and Chicken Fried Steak Burrito from Studio Catering Co. and Hollywood Lounge. This year’s special Anaheim Ducks Days merchandise honors the team’s 30^th anniversary season with select collectible gear including apparel, headwear and other commemorative items.

Originally founded by The Walt Disney Company in 1993, the Anaheim Ducks were originally known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a name which was inspired by the 1992 Disney film, “The Mighty Ducks.” The name remained the same until the 2006-2007 season when the club officially became known as the Anaheim Ducks.

Fans can purchase theme park tickets and book theme park reservations (subject to availability) to Disney California Adventure Park for Feb. 22 and Feb. 23 at Disneyland.com. Both a valid park admission and reservation are required for the same park on the same date for park entry, and park reservations are limited, subject to availability and not guaranteed.

New Mickey Balloon Light Flew Into Magic Kingdom!

How adorable is this Mickey Balloon Light? We found it at Magic Kingdom for $29.99 and fell in love with it, is a great piece to have as a home decor and bring some magic back home!

The light has the iconic Mickey balloon shaped and features Mickey’s face in the middle. It works with batteries and can be light up with just one tap, you can choose to let it be lit up for 30 or 60 seconds when you tap it, or turn it off and just use as a home decor piece.

New Play In The Park Products Spotted At Magic Kingdom!

We found new Play In The Park products available during our visit to The Emporium in Magic Kingdom that are filled with magic and happy memories at the most magical place on earth!

Let’s start with this yellow belt bag featuring an all over pattern of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and other beloved Disney characters having a blast around the different themed parks like Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

The adjustable strap features the Walt Disney World logo embroidered in a darker yellow color, so cute!

Then we found this little bag perfect to carry your money or any other essentials. It features Mickey & Minnie having fun in a tea cup at Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle in the background and It’s A Small World, Fantasyland Carousel and Dumbo icons.

On the back, the bag features the Walt Disney World themed park icons like Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tower of Terror and Tree of Life.

Finally, we spotted this snow globe featuring Mickey ears! Inside it showcases Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Donald and Goofy during a fun day in Magic Kingdom! Turn it around and you will find what looks like a retro Magic Kingdom poster featuring Mickey having a Dole Whip.

The snow globe also features a teal base with Walt Disney World logo in white and Mickey shaped confetti inside the globe! A great piece to bring a little piece of magic back home.

More After Hours Dates Announced for Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World Resort has added even more Disney After Hours event dates for three of the four theme parks! Starting in April, guests can experience more time at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

There are more nights for Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom starting April 22. Here’s a list of all dates for this park:

After Hours events dates at Disney’s Hollywood Studios were originally January 10 through April 10. Now there are 13 more dates from May 22 through August 29!

Walls go up around Pirates of the Caribbean

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom will note a bit of a change to the exterior of the popular Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Adventureland. Construction walls have been erected near the ride entrance to allow for a refurbishment of the Torre del Cielo tower.

The ride is operating as normal with the walls erected, pointing toward a refurbishment of the tower area itself and not any work that extends to the actual attraction.

Pirates of the Caribbean is not currently on the refurbishment list. While no work was taking place behind the walls during our most recent visit, we assume the work will be cosmetic touch-ups of the exterior of the tower.

Today seems to be the day to announce all things Mardis Gras at Universal Orlando Resort. We previously announced the lineup of concerts coming to this year’s celebration, and we now have the details on this year’s Float Ride and Dine Experience!

For those unaware, the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience is a fan-favorite event held during the Universal Orlando Mardis Gras celebration that affords guests the ability to ride on one of the Mardis Gras floats during the parade! The Mardis Gras celebration runs from Feb. 3 through April 7 this year at Universal Studios Florida.

We have the Mardis Gras update everyone has been waiting for! According to reporting from U.S.A. Today, Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the concert lineup for the 2024 Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval!

This year’s Mardis Gras celebration is slated to take place from February 3 through April 7, 2024, at Universal Studios Florida. While the Mardis Gras parade will occur daily, concerts are only offered on select nights. Here is the lineup and dates for this year’s performers, with each concert scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM at the Music Plaza stage (located near Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster):
