Disneyland Resort Features “Celebrate Gospel” and Celebrate Soulfully in February
In honor of Black History Month, Disneyland will feature Celebrate Soulfully offerings, including “Celebrate Gospel” concerts, in February!
Throughout the year, guests can discover Celebrate Soulfully experiences inspired by Black heritage and culture, such as the opportunity to meet Ariel from the live-action film “The Little Mermaid,” Tiana’s Palace restaurant, the “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” experience and more.
A resort tradition for more than a decade, the “Celebrate Gospel” concerts return to the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park, headlined by Marvin Sapp on Saturday, Feb. 17, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard on Saturday, Feb. 24. This annual tribute to Gospel music brings together award-winning artists and community choirs from across Southern California.
From Feb. 1 through 29, the soulful celebration expands during Black History Month with limited-time menu items, such as the fried chicken bowl and sweet potato pie casserole from Troubadour Tavern.

Starting January 27-28, SeaWorld Orlando introduces the new Just for Kids Weekend, filled with interactive activities, character photos, and live shows. This event coincides with Sesame Street Land’s 5th Birthday Celebration, featuring a new parade, a birthday breakfast, special character visits, and more. Additionally, Elmo’s Birthday Celebration returns on January 29, offering a DJ dance party, a group sing-along, storytime, crafts, and photo ops with Sesame Street characters!
ALL-NEW Sesame Street Birthday Parade: Sing, dance, and celebrate with your favorite furry friends during this colorful, energetic parade! We found this charming Disney Beach Club Merch Collection at the resort in Walt Disney World! It includes kitchenware, accessories and home decor that will bring the magic of Disney to your home.
Let’s start with these fun pieces to have your favorite milkshake or ice cream! The mug is white with that is looks like a cupcake with Mickey ears on top and reusable straw and the bowl is shaped like a Mickey Mouse sundae, they are adorable.
The collection also features two travel tumblers with two different designs, one features Minnie & Mickey enjoying a delicious sundae and looking super elegant! The second tumbler features Mickey enjoying a nice day at the beach.
There’s also a Corkcicle tumbler in white with the Disney Beach Club logo on the front in orange and teal colors. It can be yours for $44.99.

They are all beautiful.

Hey, all you monster fans and thrill-seekers! Get ready for some hair-raising fun because Universal Orlando Resort is about to unveil something monstrously exciting: an all-new Monster Makeover experience!
This eerie and exciting makeover boutique is setting up shop in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. You’ll find it nestled inside the 5 & 10 store near the rear of the store in what used to be an old stock room.
Although we don’t have an exact opening date yet, the buzz is building. The signage near the entrance invites guests to ‘Become the Monster!’ hinting at the experience that lies within.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast North American Tour Coming in June 2025
Today, Disney Theatrical Group, led by Andrew Flatt, Anne Quart, and Thomas Schumacher, unveiled plans for the upcoming reimagined North American tour of “Beauty and the Beast,” set to debut in June 2025.
“We’ve heard from audiences for three decades now that Beauty and the Beast has touched them in a profound way – these characters, songs and this sweeping story,” said Thomas Schumacher, Chief Creative Officer, Disney Theatrical Group. “How proud we are, then, to bring this refreshed and human take on the show – with the scale and spectacle the title deserves – to longtime fans and an entirely new generation. This Beauty is for them.”
Based on the Academy Award®-winning feature film, Beauty and the Beast is one of the most beloved stage musicals of the last half-century. The Tony Award®-winning Broadway production ran for 13 years (1994 – 2007) and remains one of the Top 10 longest-running Broadway shows. Worldwide, there have been productions in 37 countries, seen by more than 25 million people and translated into 17 different languages.
The new tour will hold technical rehearsals and launch in Schenectady, NY at Proctors in June 2025, prior to the official opening in Chicago, IL at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in July, followed by a stop in Minneapolis, MN at the Orpheum Theatre in August. Casting and the anticipated two-year tour route will be announced at a later date.
Reuniting to create this new production are members of the original Tony Award®-winning artistic team, including composer Alan Menken (who wrote the film’s beloved score with the late lyricist Howard Ashman), lyricist Tim Rice, book writer Linda Woolverton, with direction and choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stanley A. Meyer, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting design by Natasha Katz.
“We are thrilled to have once again gathered this world-class creative team on Beauty and the Beast, under the masterful direction of original team member Matt West. Together they created a beloved show in 1994, and today they’re telling that story with all the charm and romance of the original production, and newly resonant for today’s audiences. It’s a pleasure to be back in the room with this peerless team as they re-discover and expand Beauty and the Beast,” shared Executive Producer Anne Quart.
Critics have raved about the show throughout its history, from its 1994 Broadway premiere through the recent smash U.K. and Australian productions of the newly-reimagined version.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has once again become a beacon of hope for endangered species with the birth of adorable cotton-top tamarin triplets. These tiny new arrivals have been melting hearts and drawing attention to the plight of their species, which is critically endangered.
The birth of the triplets was announced on Instagram by Dr Mark Penning, Disney’s Vice President of Animals, Science and Environment. The cotton-top tamarin, a small monkey native to the tropical forests of northwestern Colombia, is known for its distinctive fluffy white hair on its head. The birth of these triplets is particularly significant given the critical status of their species, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts.
Over the past several days, the triplets have been bonding closely with their family. Remarkably, both the mother and father play an active role in caring for the young. In the wild, this cooperative parenting is essential for the survival of the infants. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can observe this unique family dynamic, as the parents take turns carrying their babies on their backs, a practice that will continue until the triplets are around 14 weeks old.
Visitors to Disney’s Animal Kingdom can witness these tiny wonders and learn more about them on Discovery Island. This experience not only provides an unforgettable sight but also raises awareness about the importance of protecting such vulnerable species.

New ‘Turning Red’ Meet and Greet at California Adventure for Lunar New Year
A new character meet and greet has arrived at Disney California Adventure for the Lunar New Year celebration! Two characters from ‘Turning Red’ are now greeting guests for a limited time.
Meilin & Ming Lee are now meeting and greeting guests near The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, across from Embarcadero Gifts.
A vibrant red pergola forms the background, featuring a prominent red panda medallion at its center, adorned with two red pandas. Surrounding it are smaller medallions showcasing cartoon red panda faces. Within the pergola, small paper lanterns dangle, while large yellow ones adorn the roof in front.
Meilin is sporting red panda ears and a tail as she is partially transformed, while Ming Lee appears entirely in her human form, dressed immaculately.
