Disney100 Happy Meal Toys Now Available at McDonald’s

The Walt Disney Company began its 100th-anniversary celebration in January, and the Disney100 Years of Wonder festivities continue at the parks and beyond. Just one week after the official 100th anniversary on October 16, McDonald’s has introduced new limited-edition toys that Disney fans are eager to collect.

Each Disney-themed Happy Meal box contains a smaller box that holds two mystery toys. With a selection of 62 possible Disney characters, it’s a surprise which pair you’ll receive.

It was a very special Halloween for a myriad of animals across the Walt Disney World Resort

Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment team is always at the forefront of ensuring that animals at the Walt Disney World Resort are well taken care of, and this Halloween was no exception. Animals across Walt Disney World Resort enjoyed a special treat this Halloween-pumpkins!

As part of their continuous efforts to blend entertainment with animal welfare, the team celebrated the spooky season in a truly unique manner.

Over the Halloween weekend, animal keepers from this dedicated team provided special pumpkins as a treat to their animal residents.

But these pumpkins served a purpose far beyond celebration. Known as ‘enrichment’, these pumpkins are a tool to encourage animals to engage with their surroundings and behave as they would in the wild.

Whether it’s rolling, smashing, investigating, or simply munching away, these activities allow animals to tap into their natural instincts.

The Animals, Science and Environment team at Disney is all about creating a balanced environment where animals can thrive while guests are educated and entertained.

This Halloween event is a testament to their commitment to blending the magic of Disney with the wonders of the natural world.

So, when you see those animals playing with pumpkins, know that there’s a dedicated team behind the scenes ensuring they’re both happy and healthy!

Portrait Revealed of The Captain for the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure

In the spirit of Halloween, Disney shared a look at the portrait of the captain coming to the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure. Just last week we learned that the ship will have a Haunted Mansion-themed bar with some new happy haunts. The captain seems to be one of those ghoulish characters.

Walt Disney Imagineering shared an animated portrait of The Captain on Instagram yesterday. The Captain is a new member of the Haunted Mansion’s history.

The animated post shows the Captain in his human form and then lightning flashes and he becomes a skeleton/ghost. The transition is true to the spirit of the Haunted Mansion attraction.

TBS Plays Tribute to the Late Matthew Perry with a Best of Chandler Marathon

TBS is set to honor Matthew Perry with a special “Chandler’s Finest” marathon starting on November 1st. This event will feature the most heartwarming and memorable episodes of Perry’s character, interspersed with heartfelt tributes that highlight his significance to fans. The marathon, taking place on TBS, a long-time home for Friends reruns, will extend throughout the weekend, concluding on Sunday, November 5.

Tragically, Matthew Perry passed away on October 28 in his Pacific Palisades residence at the age of 54. Law enforcement sources informed Deadline that he was discovered unconscious in his Los Angeles home, and despite the efforts of first responders, he could not be revived.
