Disneyland Resort has fired up the fun! Now you can meet Anger from Inside Out! He joins other Pixar characters interacting with guests during Pixar Fest.
For a limited time Anger from Pixarโs โInside Out 2โ will greet guests in Disney California Adventure Park at the Pixar Pier Band Shell. This is the first time Anger has appeared at a Disney park for a meet and greet.
From the 2015 Pixar film Inside Out, Anger is one of Riley’s five core emotions, residing within her mind’s headquarters. Fiercely protective, Anger ensures fairness for Riley. But when things go awry, his fiery temper erupts โ literally! Impatient and easily frustrated, Anger embodies rage, irritation, and the explosive frustration we all feel sometimes.
Later this summer, Anger will make his way to select international Disney Parks.

Disneyland President Ken Potrock Extends Sympathies for Cast Member who Died After Backstage Accident
In a heartfelt message to employees on June 10th, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock announced the tragic passing of a beloved cast member. Club 33 manager Bonnye Lear died last week following a devastating accident at the Anaheim park.
โI am very sad to share the heartbreaking news that we have lost one of our Disneyland resort cast members, Bonnye Lear, who passed away Friday after being involved in a tragic golf cart accident backstage earlier in the week,โ Potrock said in the letter.
A longtime Disneyland employee, Bonnye Lear, tragically died after a golf cart accident. The 60-year-old Fullerton resident, who worked at the park for 24 years, fell from the cart in a restricted area behind Critter Country on June 5th. Despite medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries two days later. Lear’s career at Disneyland spanned various departments, including guest services, special activities, travel agencies, and most recently, Senior Guest Services Manager at Club 33.
โWe are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her,โ Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said in a statement. โAt this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.โ

Disneyland Trims Entertainment Offerings Amid Peak Summer Crowds
Disney California Adventure is scaling back on live entertainment for the peak summer season. This includes cancelling two shows entirely and reducing the number of performances for two others. The Anaheim theme park heads into the busy Fourth of July weekend with a smaller atmosphere than usual.
Disney California Adventure is reducing showtimes for the Warriors of Wakanda in Avengers Campus and the Citizens of Buena Vista Street during July.
Disneyland officials say Disney California Adventure regularly reviews and adjusts its entertainment offerings, and some showtimes will be changing soon.
In “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje,” aspiring heroes can train alongside the Black Panther’s elite bodyguards at Avengers Campus, learning the ways of Wakandan warriors.
Stroll down memory lane on Buena Vista Street! Mingle with friendly characters like a dashing police officer, a speedy bike messenger, and even the charming mayor, all dressed to the nines in 1920s attire. These lively figures breathe life into the bygone era of Los Angeles, making your journey through the park’s entrance a truly immersive experience.
Previously a daily fixture, both Warriors of Wakanda and Citizens of Buena Vista Street will see a significant reduction in performances this July, a peak vacation month for many. Expect a 20% or greater decrease in showtimes compared to June.
Catch the Citizens of Buena Vista Street most Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in July, as their appearances take a break on Thursdays and Fridays. Similarly, the Warriors of Wakanda will be on hiatus on Sundays and Mondays throughout most of the month. Keep an eye out for updates, as the Disneyland entertainment calendar only goes until July 25th for now.
These recent adjustments to the entertainment schedule follow the closure of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” at Avengers Campus and the cancellation of Club Pixar’s dance parties during Pixar Fest at Disney California Adventure.

Guests visiting Disney Springs will encounter some new construction walls near Raglan Road. The popular Irish eatery is adding a new permanent outdoor bar, Paddyโs Bar, located in front of the Shop for Ireland gift shop, and the work on the bar has officially started!
The new bar replaces the mobile bar that was located in the same spot and will feature six to eight seats with a limited drinks menu, including Irish draft beers, locally commissioned craft beers, and Irish cocktails. Named after the poet Patrick Kavanagh, Paddyโs Bar will serve only beverages, with food available at Raglan Road or Cookes of Dublin.
