Chronicles of Light offers New Cooperative Gaming from Ravensburger

Ravensburger, the renowned publisher celebrated for its award-winning board games, high-quality toys, and puzzles, is bringing together iconic heroines from beloved Disney and Pixar tales to unite against a looming malevolence threatening the world.

Through a blend of role-playing, storytelling, cooperation, and the accessible format of a board game, Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition) crafts an engaging adventure, allowing players to explore Disney heroines in fresh and exciting ways as they collaborate to emerge victorious. This immersive game will open for pre-orders on July 7 via Target.com, with availability for purchase at Target and hobby stores nationwide starting July 21.

“As we’ve seen time and time again with games like Disney Villainous and Disney Lorcana TCG, bringing Disney heroes and villains into one shared universe reignites powerful nostalgia and provides a platform to bring friends and families together in an immersive and highly creative experience,” said Lysa Penrose, Head of New Games Marketing at Ravensburger North America.“

“We know how imaginations ignite when you bring Disney storytelling to life in board games, and we can’t wait for you to see what happens when Disney Princess characters and other Disney heroines join forces and take center stage.”

In Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition), players work together to form dynamic alliances of Disney and Pixar heroines, including Moana (Moana), Violet (The Incredibles), Maid Marian (Robin Hood) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast). Materializing as radiant crystal versions summoned into the realm, the heroines drive back shadows of infamous Disney Villains and restore the Realm of Light.

Along the way, the team explores a brand-new illustrated world and encounters familiar characters, items, and creatures on their quests. Fully designed and illustrated by women, the game’s diverse missions and modular board generate new adventures every time it’s played. More gameplay details and illustrations will be unveiled at various game events throughout the year. The game is recommended for up to 4 players ages 8 and up and has an MSRP of $29.99.

Latest look at the Disney Vacation Club Tower Construction at the Polynesian Resort

Now that the calendar has officially transitioned into 2024, we can finally say the new Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will open this year! The new tower is currently slated to open in ‘late 2024’, and we have your latest construction update ready.

While we cannot see what progress has been made on the interior, we can see some great progress on the exterior of the resort. A majority of the rooms have sliding balcony doors installed, and from the outside, we can see what appears to be hanging lights illuminated.

Once completed, the new tower will add a variety of studio options to the resort, which currently only houses DVC studios.

The tower will contain a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom layouts, and will be part of the current DVC association.

Disney World Adjusts Transportation as All-Day Park Hopping Returns

Today is a landmark day at Walt Disney World, as it marks the return of all-day Park Hopping! Guests who hold tickets with the Park Hopper Option and Annual Passholders will no longer need to wait until 2 P.M. to Park Hop, returning the flexibility that was greatly missed from a trip to Walt Disney World. To ensure guests can seamlessly park hop from one park to another, Disney has adjusted the bus service that runs between parks.

Bus service between parks will now begin at 10 a.m., which means this is the earliest time you can take a Disney bus from one park to another.

Bus service between the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT has not yet returned. Guests looking to Park Hop between these two parks will need to head to the Ticket and Transportation Center to hop on the resort monorail (EPCOT and Magic Kingdom) or the Ferry (Magic Kingdom only).

Guests looking to hop between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios can also leverage the Disney Skyliner for transportation between these two parks. Boat Service is also an option for transportation between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

3 NEW Dole Whip Treats in Disney Springs

3 new Dole Whip treats have arrived in Disney Springs in the form of a Dole Whip Sampler! It’s available at Swirls on the Water for just $7.49. That’s a fantastic deal for three Dole Whip treats.

The sampler includes three different flavors. The first is Dole Whip Cherry with Dole Whip Lime with Strawberry Boba Pearls and a Maraschino Cherry. This one was not our favorite of the three. The cherry was more tart rather than sweet. Mixed with the acidic lime made the treat too tart for us.

The second flavor is Dole Whip Pineapple with Vanilla Soft Serve and a pineapple wedge. It’s basically a classic Dole Whip and was delicious!

And the third flavor is Dole Whip Lemon with Pink Cotton Candy Soft Serve, Lemon Curd, and Cotton Candy. This was our favorite of the three flavors! The citrusy lemon combined with the sweet and creamy cotton candy blended so nicely with the lemon curd.

New Popcorn Bucket and Tumbler by Joey Chou Debut in Disneyland

A new popcorn bucket and travel tumbler have arrived at the Disneyland Resort! Both feature artwork designed by Joey Chou.

Disneyland Popcorn Bucket and Disneyland Travel Tumbler showcase the artwork designed by Joey Chou as part of the Disney Artist Showcase. The popcorn bucket features Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mickey on one side and Minnie on the other. Other Disneyland attractions are featured as well, like the Haunted Mansion, the Disneyland Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and more.

The tumbler also features iconic Disneyland attractions but Mickey and Minnie are riding on the Disneyland Railroad. Both bucket and tumbler have blue lids and blue carrying straps. And both are available now at a variety of locations throughout Disneyland.

OK Ice Cream Lovers, Swirls on the Water has yet another treat for you! The Disney Springs home for tasty frozen treats has brought back the beloved Rapunzel Cone, and this time, it’s got a delicious new twist!

Fans who were lucky enough to try this treat last year will recall the yummy lemon raspberry swirl featured in the cone. This year’s iteration of the cone features a zesty lemon and cotton candy swirl! The sweet cotton candy perfectly balances the tartness of the lemon, creating an amazing sweet-tart taste that is SO good, it will make you want to hit your companion over the head with a frying pan!

This treat isn’t just delicious; it’s also super fun to look at. With its bright colors and whimsical design, it’s like holding a piece of Disney magic in your hands. It’s perfect for snapping a photo to remember your Disney Springs adventure.
