The magic of Halloween has officially arrived at Walt Disney World! Guests were greeted with a delightful surprise this morning as they entered the Magic Kingdom: the iconic Mickey pumpkin wreaths have made their triumphant return!

These beloved decorations, featuring a grinning Mickey Mouse Jack-o’-Lantern surrounded by autumnal foliage, have become synonymous with the Halloween season at the park. They line Main Street, U.S.A., casting a cheerful glow as they welcome visitors to the most magical place on Earth.

The appearance of these wreaths is just one of the many exciting changes happening at the Magic Kingdom in anticipation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

In fact, we also spotted the official party signage at the Walt Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center, further fueling the excitement for this spooktacular event.

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, Universal Studios Hollywood has expanded its popular Universal Express ticket to include express access to the land’s signature attraction, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.

Guests can now enjoy one-time express access per day to this thrilling ride. For an upgraded experience, the Universal Express Unlimited ticket offers unlimited express access to all rides, attractions, and seated shows in the park. Both ticket options feature a separate line with shorter wait times, excluding food, retail locations, and non-seated shows. While Universal had started offering Express Pass for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge a few weeks ago, this announcement makes the addition permanent.

Located within an expanded area of Universal Studios Hollywood, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD dazzles with vibrant colors and innovative architecture. The land features “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge,” along with interactive activities and a new interactive wall in the Frosted Glacier area that engages guests with familiar Super Mario™ characters.

We are just 2 days away from the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year, and Disney has just announced the meet and greet locations for some of your favorite characters! Taking place on select evenings from August 9 to October 31, 2024, from 7:00 PM to midnight, e now know where you can meet Mickey, Minnie, Mirabel, and Bruno!

Mickey and Minnie Meet and Greet Locations

This year, guests can strike a spooky pose with Mickey Mouse in his ghostly new tuxedo outfit at Town Square. Meanwhile, Minnie Mouse will be enchanting visitors in her spiderweb witch costume at Storybook Circus. These unique outfits are sure to add an extra layer of magic to your Halloween photos!

Mirabel and Bruno Meet and Greet Location

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom will note a bit of a change up in the entrance area. The iconic posters that hang near the entrance and advertise attractions and activities within the park have received an overhaul, with the newest posters advertising TRON Lightcycle/Run and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.

Both attractions are presented by Enterprise, with the car rental company logo appearing on both posters. The Tron Lightcycle/Run poster features futuristic styling and is shaded in blue, a nod to the fact the users (aka us) who ride the attraction are par of Team Blue.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover attraction is labeled as the WEDway PeopleMover on the poster. WED was the original name of what we now know as Walt Disney Imagineering, which is where the term WEDway originated. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority name took over the WEDWay theming back in the mid-90’s, however this throwback poster features the original name.

D23 Banners Up Now at Anaheim Convention Center Ahead of Ultimate Fan Event

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is coming to the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend! Special banners and decorations have arrived at the convention center ahead of the event and we are getting excited!

Just above the main entrance to the Anaheim Convention Center you’ll see the logo for the event along with Sorcerer Mickey on the left. The banner to the right of the logo features Woody, Grogu, Groot, and Moana.

On either side of the main entrance, different character banners hang from light posts. We saw characters from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel.

Each banner features the D23 event logo above the character. Below the character’s image you’ll see the company they are from. Some of the characters on the banners include Anxiety from Pixar’s Inside Out 2, Mandalorian from Star Wars, and Tiana from Disney’s The Princess & The Frog.
