On May 31st, 2012, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort officially opened its doors. You’ll find a motley assortment of Disney characters throughout the public spaces and rooms, including Ariel, Nemo, Lightning McQueen, and Simba. For families with little ones, this is one of the best options for staying on Walt Disney World property. It’s also a value resort, which means it’s much more budget-friendly!

With Skyliner access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, as well as bus transport to all Disney theme parks and Disney Springs, this resort makes staying on Walt Disney World property truly worthwhile. They also have family suites that can accommodate larger groups so the whole family can stay together. Find these suites in the Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo-themed areas.
