On a Crisp Spring NYC Afternoon Chip and Company were invited to a mesmerizing spectacle that transcends the boundaries of ordinary theater. Water For Elephants, the brand new musical adaptation of Sara Gruen’s beloved novel, has arrived with all the grandeur and splendor befitting of Broadway’s most illustrious productions.
Under the expert direction of Jessica Stone, known for her remarkable work on Kimberly Akimbo, this production proves to be a tour de force, igniting the stage with emotional depth, breathtaking acrobatics, and a cast that shines as brightly as the Big Top under the moonlit sky.
From the moment the curtains rise, the audience is transported to a world where the air crackles with the energy of the circus. The incredible high-flying acrobatic cast, led by Grant Gustin as the wide-eyed Jacob Jankowski, takes center stage, performing death-defying stunts that leave spectators on the edge of their seats. With every twist, turn, and somersault, they breathe life into the magic of the circus, infusing the production with a sense of wonder and awe that is truly unforgettable.
But it’s not just the acrobatics that dazzle; it’s the seamless integration of choreography that elevates the performance to new heights. Our favorite was the performance on silks, suspended high above the stage, which served as both a playground for the performers and a canvas for storytelling.

The Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT is undergoing some beautification work! Construction walls have been put up around the front of the pavilion, including the fountain. Scaffolding reaches the top of the iconic Bab Bou Jeloud facade. Don’t worry though, all the shops and restaurants inside the pavilion are still open, including the popular Princess Jasmine meet-and-greet and Tangierine Cafe.
Even though construction has begun, there’s still plenty to explore in the Morocco Pavilion! Let’s navigate around the construction walls on the left side. This will lead you to the Gallery of Arts and History, the Kidcot stop, and eventually the back half of the pavilion.
Don’t miss the charming marketplace while exploring the Morocco Pavilion! It’s a great place to browse and find unique souvenirs, all while enjoying a relaxing break from the construction. Plus, the comfortable seating makes it a perfect spot to rest your feet.

Construction on Dark Universe, the haunted land dedicated to classic Universal monsters in Epic Universe, is moving along full steam ahead and we’re getting chills (in the best way possible). Thanks to recent photos posted on X (formally Twitter) by bioreconstruct, we have a hauntingly good look at the construction progress.
The centerpiece of Dark Universe is impossible to miss. Aerial views showcase the land’s eye-catching portal entrance, beckoning guests to step into a world brimming with iconic Universal Monsters. As we venture deeper, the pathway winds through a detailed village, leading us toward the imposing manor that will undoubtedly serve as the heart of the land.
