Pura Vida Bracelets, the beloved brand known for its handcrafted bracelets and vibrant accessories, has just confirmed it will soon open a new location in the heart of Walt Disney World’s retail mecca. The shop will take over the space formerly occupied by Melissa Shoes in the Town Center area, conveniently located near Anthropologie. While we don’t have an official opening date yet, the buzz is already building as construction is set to begin soon.

Pura Vida’s journey began back in 2010 when Southern California friends Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman embarked on a life-changing trip to Costa Rica. Adventureland Pavement Replacement Almost Complete in the Magic Kingdom

The ongoing project to replace the themed pavement in Adventureland has now expanded to the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen.

The gray area in the photo is the original pavement, while the brown sections represent the newly installed replacement. The first phases of this project began near the Adventureland bridge several weeks ago.

Just last week, a traffic bottleneck caused by the new pavement work formed near the Adventureland bridge, directly in front of Sunshine Tree Terrace.

The new pavement features a more themed design, incorporating various animal prints and intentional cracks. It echoes the style of the pavement installed in Frontierland last year and the Storybook Circus sidewalks.

The prints represent a variety of animals native to Adventureland, including hoof marks, paws, and even tiny bird footprints. These are all creatures you might encounter on the attractions in this themed land.

Near the buildings, the pavement is speckled with green, mossy textures, suggesting that years of rainwater runoff have created this effect.

Disney World to Relocate One Manatee and Three Dolphins from The Seas at EPCOT 2

Some familiar faces at Walt Disney World’s “The Seas with Nemo & Friends” attraction are swimming to new homes. Disney confirmed that Lou, one of the beloved manatees, along with three dolphins, will be relocated to new facilities in Florida. Lou is set to move as soon as September 11, while the dolphins will head to Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park over the next few months.

These changes come as part of broader recommendations from the Manatee Rehabilitation Partnership and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services. While Lou moves on, Disney has shared that a new manatee will soon join Lil Joe, the other manatee under their care.

“The Seas with Nemo & Friends” is not only home to these marine mammals but also a 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium where guests can encounter sea creatures up close. This attraction, located in EPCOT’s World Nature area, offers a delightful under-the-sea adventure inspired by Disney and Pixar’s “Finding Nemo.” Visitors board a “clamobile” for a gentle ride through vibrant coral reefs, dodging jellyfish and mingling with beloved characters like Crush the turtle and, of course, Nemo.

With the departure of Lou and the dolphins, Disney remains committed to providing extraordinary care for marine life while continuing its conservation efforts. Visitors can still enjoy the vibrant underwater world of Nemo’s friends and explore marine biology through fun, interactive activities at The Seas pavilion.
