The Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom just got a charming makeover that fans of this beloved attraction won’t want to miss! One of the standout updates is the long-awaited refurbishment of the entrance clock. When the attraction reopened after its reimagining, the clock was missing its signature pendulum, but now a shiny new goldtone pendulum is back in place, adding that touch of vintage charm we all love.
As you exit the theater, there’s another treat in store—new portraits of the Country Bears have been added to the exit queue area. These smaller, delightful pieces of art were originally found in the lobby, but now guests can enjoy them as they leave the attraction as well. Even more exciting is that the portraits are based on unused concept art from Disney Legend Marc Davis, who designed the original Country Bear characters. One portrait features a bear as a one-man band, complete with cymbals, a guitar, and a harmonica, while others feature a one-man marching band and a complete Country Bears orchastra!
These portraits are only at the bottom front exit of the theater, but don’t worry, they’re still hanging in the lobby, too! Whether you’re stopping by for the first time or revisiting an old favorite, these updates bring an extra dose of nostalgia and charm to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Halloween MUNCHKINS Bucket and Official DunKings Halloween Costumes Coming to Dunkin
Dunkin’ is dialing up the excitement this spooky season with an all-new lineup of Halloween-inspired tricks and treats to take guests from morning to midnight. This October, the brand is introducing a striking new Potion Macchiato, a revamped Spider Specialty Donut, and a Halloween MUNCHKINS Bucket, which features new Halloween MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats covered in chocolate and orange sprinkles. These limited-time, seasonal offerings will be available in Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide starting October 16.
In addition to the forthcoming menu, Dunkin’ is also bringing back its fan-favorite DunKings Tracksuits to ShopDunkin.com on October 1, along with Halloween costumes inspired by the tracksuits. In honor of the new purple-hued brew, Dunkin’s beloved Spider Specialty Donut is getting a makeover for the spooky season. The formerly orange-frosted donut is adorned with purple frosting this year and, as always, topped with a Glazed Chocolate MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treat, complete with chocolate drizzle for spider legs and white drizzle forming the eyes.
Dunkin’ is also introducing a new Halloween MUNCHKINS Bucket, a must-have for trick-or-treating this holiday. The purple bucket, illustrated with a sweet Halloween motif, can be filled with a 50-count assortment of MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats, with new Halloween sprinkle-covered MUNCHKINS added to the assortment.

Main Street Confectionery Kernel Kitchen Receives New Popcorn Containers
While exploring Magic Kingdom, we couldn’t resist a stop at our beloved Main Street Confectionery for a sweet treat. To our surprise, we discovered these adorable new Mickey Main Street popcorn buckets!
The Main Street Confectionery has undergone a significant renovation in recent years, featuring a new custom popcorn station that replaced the former hat embroidery booth. Here, you can create your own unique popcorn treat by choosing your favorite flavor, adding a syrup like milk or dark chocolate, and topping it off with candies or savory snacks like pretzels or gummy worms.
The base price of $12.99 includes popcorn with your choice of two toppings and a syrup. For an extra dollar, you can add more toppings to your popcorn.
The new popcorn bucket is a large, round container with a red and white striped pattern and features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on the front. Mickey and Minnie both look very dapper in their outfits.

First Look at Disneyland’s Bayou Country Cast Member Costumes
The official Disneyland Cast and Community Instagram account has given us a sneak peek at the Bayou Country Cast Member costumes.
Critter Country at Disneyland was temporarily closed earlier this year to prepare for the arrival of Bayou Country, the new theme that will debut alongside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure next month.
The costumes are inspired by Tiana’s various looks, including her princess gown and her new ride attire. They feature a color palette of brown, green, white, and yellow.
Each department offers a range of costume options, including short and long sleeves, with or without jackets and hats, and various pants. This allows Cast Members to personalize their look by choosing from a selection of pieces.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the highly anticipated replacement for Splash Mountain, will open in Bayou Country at Disneyland park on November 15, 2024. Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to be among the first to experience this exciting new ride, which previously debuted at Magic Kingdom in Florida earlier this year.

Walt Disney World has announced that Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will officially reopen tomorrow, Sunday, October 13, following closures due to Hurricane Milton. The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will also reopen the same day, marking the final resort locations to return to operation.
Additionally, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will reopen tomorrow, October 12. The Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, and mini-golf courses reopened on October 11.
Hurricane Milton, which made landfall late Wednesday as a Category 3 storm, forced phased closures of Disney’s parks and attractions starting Wednesday afternoon, with operations halted through Thursday. The resort has worked quickly to resume normal operations and ensure guest safety.
Animal Kingdom’s inhabitants are safely back home after sheltering during the hurricane
Hurricane Milton passed through Walt Disney World on the night of October 9, bringing strong winds and rain that prompted park closures and extensive cleanup efforts. However, the thousands of animals that call the parks home, particularly at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, were safely protected during the storm. On October 11, Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment, shared an update on Instagram, praising the dedication of the resort’s animal experts in keeping the animals that call Animal Kingdom home safe during the storm.
“Just as our cast members and guests rode out the storm during Hurricane Milton, our team of animal experts cared for the thousands of animals that call Walt Disney World home,” Penning wrote. He highlighted the team’s vigilance during the storm, ensuring the safety of animals ranging from butterflies to flamingos, and even the family of western lowland gorillas. Animal care teams monitored conditions closely and sprang into action to clear storm debris before returning the animals to their habitats once the storm passed.
Fallen tree limbs on Kilimanjaro Safaris following Hurricane Milton
As of October 11, Walt Disney World theme parks, including Animal Kingdom, have fully reopened. Animal experiences have resumed, with the animals safely back in their natural environments. We visited Animal Kingdom on the 11th and found the park to be in tip top shape with the only signs of damage coming in the form of some fallen tree limbs on the safari. This careful coordination is a testament to the behind-the-scenes efforts of Disney’s wildlife professionals, ensuring the well-being of these creatures during and after the storm.
This effort reminds us of the extraordinary commitment Disney places on caring for the wildlife in its parks, even in the face of unpredictable natural events like Hurricane Milton.
