Exciting news for fans of the Country Bears at Magic Kingdom! The beloved characters have received new costumes to match their attire in the upcoming Country Bear Musical Jamboree. These fresh looks were revealed at a media event today and will debut to guests in the near future. The new version of the Country Bear Jamboree is set to open on July 17, 2024.
For the revamped Musical Jamboree, each Country Bear character has been given a stylish new outfit. Big Al, for example, now sports a pale tan hat and a red vest with gold patterning, a shift from his previous red-orange attire. Wendell has also updated his look with a cowboy hat, purple bandana, and a matching vest.
We recently had the chance to check out the all-new Universal Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida, and it was nothing short of EPIC! The parade runs from now through November, and it’s a must-see event for all movie fans. The nostalgia factor is real for fans of classic movies like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, ET, and Jaws. Even if you’ve never seen a single movie featured in the parade, the amazing floats and engaging team members will ensure you have a great time!
The parade kicks off with dancers performing in front of a fun float that has a movie screen displaying clips from the featured movies. We then move into the Back to the Future float, powered by a Flux Capacitor! The float features Marty and Doc Brown along with the Delorean seemingly taking off.
Performers zoom around on hoverboards, adding to the excitement. Next up is the Sing float, where fans of the first movie will recognize Johnny playing the piano.
The Minions float follows, featuring those beloved yellow characters;
Followed by the Kung Fu Panda float starring the Dragon Warrior himself!
No Universal parade would be complete without the Trolls. Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond are ready to party!
Behind the Trolls is the largest float Universal has ever created: the Ghostbusters float. It features characters like Janine and Pheobe leading the float, followed by the actual float featuring Ray, Egon, and Peter battling Gozer the Gozerian, with a huge Stay Puft Marshmallow Man looming behind.
Slimer can be seen raiding a hot dog cart, and the containment unit is at the rear of the float.
The ET float follows, with characters from the movie mid-flight on their bikes.
Then comes the Jaws float, led by a marching band celebrating the 4th of July on Amity Island, featuring Mayor Larry Vaughn and Chief Martin Brody.
The float itself shows the gigantic shark, a battered boat, and the iconic Captain Quint.
The parade caps off with the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World float, led by an orb-shaped transport vehicle from Jurassic World. Fans will recognize Claire and Owen greeting guests, followed by a float featuring the T-Rex roaring mightily.
This is a must-do event this summer at Universal Orlando Resort! The parade currently runs daily at 6pm (weather permitting) but will move to 3pm in late August to accommodate the Halloween Horror Nights schedule. Heads up for everyone planning a stay at All Star Sports later this summer. From July through September 2024, Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries will be undergoing refurbishment work. Even with the construction, the store will stay partially open so guests can still shop for their favorite items.
Visitors might notice some construction noises and activity during this time. Despite the work, guests can continue to find logo souvenirs, sports apparel, character goods, snacks, and other supplies at the shop. Located in the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort Area, Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries is a great spot to score some fun Disney merchandise.

Sign Unveiled for New Country Bear Musical Jamboree at the Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World has revealed a first look at the updated marquee for the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, signaling the imminent arrival of a fresh new show on July 17th. This highly-anticipated revamp will feature twangy interpretations of beloved Disney tunes in a variety of country music genres, including bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, and rockabilly.
Disney Imagineers collaborated with some of country music’s finest talents to create this musical homage to Nashville. Country music legend and 10-time CMA “Musician of the Year” Mac McAnally lent his expertise, while rising stars like Emily Ann Roberts, Allison Russel, and Chris Thile contributed their voices to the new soundtrack.
The beloved bears themselves will also be sporting new costumes, adding to the excitement of their epic comeback. With a fresh setlist and a revamped look, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree is sure to be a hit with Disney fans of all ages.
General Ticket Sales Begin for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights in Walt Disney World
Disney Addicts, rejoice! As of today, general ticket sales are now open for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests have had early access for the past week, everyone can now secure their tickets for these highly anticipated holiday events.
Based on previous years, certain dates are expected to sell out quickly. For Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the opening night (November 8), December 20, 17, 15, and weekends in November and December are likely to be popular. As for Disney Jollywood Nights, the opening night (November 9), December 21, and weekends in November and December are expected to fill up fast.
If you’re planning to attend either event, here are some tips for booking:

New character appearances will also include Bo Peep, Lotso, Baloo, and King Louie from TaleSpin.
