Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Returns to EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays
Get ready for a scavenger hunt with a frosty twist! Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition is back at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, inviting guests on a whimsical journey through World Showcase.
Inspired by the animated short “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,” this interactive activity allows guests to help Olaf discover holiday traditions from around the globe. For $9.99 plus tax, participants receive a scavenger hunt map and stickers from select EPCOT locations.
The map guides guests through various pavilions, where they must search for hidden Olaf figures holding objects representing different holiday customs. Once found, the corresponding sticker is placed on the map, creating a fun and engaging way to explore the festival.

Disney’s Aulani Resort Celebrates the World Premiere of โMoana 2โ with Stars and Filmmakers
Last week, the stunning shores of Ko Olina, Hawaiโi, played host to the world premiere of Disneyโs highly anticipated โMoana 2.โ Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa was at the heart of the festivities, welcoming stars, filmmakers, and special guests.
One of the highlights of the event was a captivating Fire & Knife Demonstration by Hualฤlai Chung, the talented voice of Moni in the film. Chung, who is also a performer at Aulani, showcased his incredible skills, leaving guests amazed. This thrilling performance and other exciting shows can be experienced by all resort guests at Aulaniโs KA WAโA โ A Lลซโau.
Mauiโs fishhook and Moanaโs oar were spotted along Aulani Resort Beach, everyoneโs favorite demigod and wayfinder were surely close by and ready for the premiere of the film! You may have even noticed a few other Moana 2 stars that were also spotted enjoying Aulani Time!
The premiere itself was held at the beautiful Lanikลซhonua Cultural Institute, a short journey from Aulani. Guests experienced special performances led by Tiana Nonosina Liufau, Kayla Faสปamaligi, and Polynesian creatives before the main event of the evening.
Several stars from the film were in attendance, including Auliสปi Cravalho (voice of Moana), Dwayne Johnson (voice of Maui), Hualฤlai Chung (voice of Moni), Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda (voice of Simea) and Gerald Faitala Ramsey (voice of Tautai Vasa), along with filmmakers and songwriters, and of course Mickey and Minnie!

Disney Honors Sherman Brothers Legacy with “The Last Verse,” a Touching Tribute to “It’s a Small World”
Disney has premiered a poignant short film, “The Last Verse,” celebrating the legacy of the Sherman Brothers and their iconic song, “It’s a Small World.” The film features a newly revealed verse written by Richard Sherman before his passing in May 2024, serving as a final gift to the studio he cherished.
The short film debuted as part of ABC News Studios’ two-hour documentary event, “The Untold Story of Mary Poppins: A Special Edition of 20/20,” commemorating the 60th anniversary of “Mary Poppins,” for which the Sherman Brothers won Academy Awards for Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
Disney CEO Bob Iger expressed his admiration for the Sherman Brothers, stating, “As the legendary creators of some of the most cherished music of the past century, the Sherman brothers will be remembered for their profound impact on our global culture. Hearing Richard Sherman recite the final verse to ‘Itโs a Small Worldโ before he died will be a moment I will carry with me forever.”
“The Last Verse” takes viewers on a journey through the 60-year history of “It’s a Small World,” showcasing its global impact and the enduring legacy of the Sherman Brothers. The film was directed by Henry Alex Rubin, known for his work on the award-winning documentary “Murderball.”

Disney World Brings Holiday Joy to Veteran Families
As part of Disneyโs commitment to honoring military members and their families, Disney VoluntEARS continued their annual tradition of bringing holiday joy to Orlando Fisher House. These dedicated volunteers brought joy and magic to families in need during the festive season.
This tradition began in 2019 when the Disney SALUTE veteran employee resource group first delivered beautiful Walt Disney World decorations to Orlando Fisher House to bring some extra holiday joy to veterans and their families who are going through challenging times.
Orlando Fisher House stands as a beacon of hope for veteran families in need. Itโs one of nearly 100 comfort homes nationwide built byย Fisher House Foundation. These warm and welcoming spaces offer complimentary lodging, allowing families to stay close to their loved ones while they are receiving medical care at a nearby hospital.
For years, Disney has supported Fisher Houses across the nation through Disney VoluntEARS events like this and more.
Disneyโs tradition was made even more special this year as they joined teams from both the Fisher House and Orlando VA Medical Center to officially open a new outdoor kitchen area.
Disney was honored to provide funding to help renovate this new social grill space that will be a place where families can come together while supporting their heroes who are receiving care. Following the ceremony, expert Disney Chefs helped officially open the newly renovated outdoor patio by serving up a delicious lunch.
โIt is always a magical day when Disney comes to our Fisher House to spread some Holiday cheer for our guests,โ said George Denby, General Manager of Orlando Fisher House. โWe are grateful for their generous donation to renovate our outdoor kitchen; this will allow our families to spend more time together and enjoy delicious meals.โ
