Disneyland Innoventions is one of your favorite places to visit, right? Okay, maybe it’s not your first stop. Last? Ever? As a self-proclaimed Disney Geek, I know that Innoventions isn’t always on my list. All that has changed though. I bet you will get there right after rope drop now.

Disneyland Park Features ‘Iron Man’ Tech, Presented by Stark Industries. How cool is that? Do you want to check out Tony Stark’s Iron Man Hall of Armor? It’s here.

How about putting on your own Iron Man suit? Would that be appealing too? That’s right, head on into Innoventions and you can. Just remember to start at 1% Power, we don’t want anyone flying into the concrete walls.

Great Restaurants for Last-Minute Advanced Dining Reservations

RC

Last week, we told you about some Disney World restaurants that can be rather difficult to get advanced dining reservations for. Well, you may be wondering now, what restaurants can I make reservations for with little advance notice? If you’re a last-minute person, here are some great restaurants for you to check out.

Parks:

  • Rainforest Cafe is usually a great place to try to reserve a table with little notice. There are two locations at Walt Disney World, one at Downtown Disney and one at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Chances are one of these will have availability for you.
  • Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom often has availability for dinner because there are no characters during this meal.
  • Restaurant Marrakesh at Epcot serves Mediterranean dishes as has even been known to have belly dancers!
  • Akershus – Believe it or many times I have been looking for ADR’s this restaurant has had availability. The times might not be the greatest but it’s better than nothing.

So with just a few months to make sure that moviegoers know the movie is coming, Disney is beginning to ramp up the promotional campaign for the film. Yesterday we brought you a new set of character posters for the film, and today we have a new trailer for your viewing pleasure. While the park and its attractions don’t open until 9 a.m., the turnstiles will open at 8:30 a.m., and I am proud to be joining Disney’s Animal Kingdom Vice President Josh D’Amaro who is hosting a special 15th anniversary ceremony that will take place in front of the Tree of Life at 8:40 a.m.
  • Commemorative guide map: Be sure to pick one up when you enter the park. And while in the Main Entrance area, also pick up a keepsake postcard that serves as a Party for the Planet guide.
