Throughout the Disney parks you will find several Face Painting Stations. Recently I took my son to get his face painted at WDW and wanted to share some Tips & Tricks with you to help make your experience more magical!

1.Each face painting station offers the same selection of about a dozen faces you can choose from. These are your only choices and range from flowers and princess inspired faces, to dogs and pirates.

2. You should expect to pay around $15 for the face. We chose a Pirate face that was $12, but others ran a little more or about the same.

Everyone is enjoying the new Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie and Monsieur Paul, the re-imagined upstairs restaurant at the France Pavilion at Epcot. But there’s more: look for the new L’Artisan des Glaces, Artisan Ice Cream & Sorbet to open by mid-June in the pavilion’s former bakery space.

This delightful little shop will offer 16 different flavors – 10 ice creams and six sorbets are on the menu (still a work in progress). “Everything will be made in-house with the simplest, fresh ingredients – milk, sugar, cream, eggs and fruit,” says general manager Eric Weistroffer.

The frozen treats will be available by the scoop in cups or cones – and for grown-ups, there’s the option of adding liqueurs, says Weistroffer.

The Wave heralds the end of Florida’s Spring Season with the finest Triple Sweet Corn from Long & Scott Farm in Zellwood. Hank Scott and family recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of their farm with the Central Florida community. Long & Scott’s agri-tainment division, Scott’s Maze Adventures, hosts over 30,000 guests each fall. The farm also boasts Scott’s Country Market, an on-site farmer’s market that features produce grown on the farm, as well as local produce. Long & Scott’s newest venture – Scott’s Country Café, features the Scott family recipes, most of which are made from the café’s own garden. The Scotts remain proud of their farm and are looking forward to celebrating their 51st anniversary in 2014.

‘Shanghai Noon/Shanghai Knights’ Double Featuring Coming to Blu-ray May 7

I won’t lie, I’m a huge Jackie Chan nut. I’ve been watching his films since I was young, so I like to think I’m well versed in his back catalog of films. While I think that many of his best films are the ones he made back in Hong Kong, there’s a few of his films that he’s made here in Hollywood that are quite fun as well. Two of those stand outs were ‘Shanghai Noon’, and its sequel, ‘Shanghai Knights’, which starred him and Owen Wilson. The films were period piece buddy comedies that played heavily on the “fish out of water” aspect, to much success. I’ve been waiting to retire my DVD copies for some time now, so I’m very excited to say that Disney will be releasing the two films as a double feature on May 7, 2013.

This is great news for fans of the films, as well as fans of both Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan, and I really look forward to getting this film when it comes to blu-ray next month. Attention ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! It’s Anonymouse here again and I have some important breaking news! Do you want to have a monstrous summer? Well, I have some insider information to help you make that happen! Disney will be holding a “Monstrous Summer” press event this week where they will be confirming these plans!

I already told you that Disney World may be bringing back a 24-hour event in the parks! We first experienced the 24-hour event for Leap Day 2012. Well, I’m now expecting Disney to confirm this fun event will be held on May 24, 2013 as a Limited Time Magic offer. This time, the 24-hour party will feature our favorite Monsters, James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski!

Hello to all my friends at Chip and Co.! It’s me again, Anonymouse! There has been plenty of Disney gossip and rumors lately and you all know I want to share them with my Chip and Co. friends! This time, I have new MyMagic+ updates to share with all of you! I know everyone has been wondering what the future of MyMagic+ will be and when testing will begin for each phase. We’re all excited to see the new FastPass+ and Magic Bands that will be created with the new MyMagic+ system.

As most of you know, annual passholders now have plastic passes encoded with an RFID chip that allow them to begin using the MyMagic+ system. A Senate committee also passed a new ticket law which will protect the MagicBands that Disney will be using for the new MyMagic+ system, allowing them to proceed with their plans.

Disney Wilderness Preserve Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Nature Conservancy is hosting an open house April 27 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disney Wilderness Preserve. Scientists, Florida cowboys, wildlife biologists and environmental educators will entertain visitors with fun outdoor activities that demonstrate nature at work.

Located south of Walt Disney World Resort, the preserve sits at the top of the headwaters of the Everglades watershed and is home to more than 1,000 species of plants and animals including bald eagles, sandhill cranes, wild turkeys and red-shouldered hawks.

Open to hikers and bird-watchers, the Preserve is a national model of innovative, large-scale conservation that was created in the early 1990s when The Walt Disney Company donated 8,500 acres to The Nature Conservancy as part of a visionary approach to responsible development and mitigation.

Disney Plans New ‘Star Wars’ Film Every Year Starting in 2015

As of last October, we knew that a new ‘Star Wars’ trilogy was happening, as was announced when Disney purchased Lucasfilm. At the time, all we knew was that the new series would start with ‘Star Wars Episode VII’, and that the film will be directed by J.J. Abrams, which will be released in the summer of 2015. It’s believed that the new films will see the return of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, as their iconic characters of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia, but in what capacity is unknown. There are many rumors circulating about what’s to come, including a rumored TV series, as well as stand alone spin-off films.
