Possible Rape Victim Found at Downtown Disney

A Woman was found naked almost a week ago in the bushes behind the House of Blues at Downtown Disney. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s office she could be the victim of a suspected rape.

She was found around 5 A.M. last Thursday. She could not remember anything that may have happened other than dancing and drinking 2 bottles of ale and 7 or 8 shots of vodka before getting to the club earlier the night before.

The picture above are 3 surveillance pictures of the suspect in this case. They were taken as he left the House of Blues the morning of July 16.

“She remembers being at the House of Blues and dancing, but not leaving,” a sheriff’s report states. “The victim said she currently has no memory of who might have taken advantage of her [and] left her naked and helpless in the shrubbery.”

“Our detectives worked this case vigorously until they felt they needed the public’s help,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Jane Watrel said. “Sometimes they want to hold things close to the vest so they can proceed with the investigation.”

She was found disoriented by Disney security officers the next morning. They also found her purse, clothes, and a used condom not to far from where she was in the bushes. Jimilyn Palmier, who is a Disney security supervisor, gave the victim her vest to cover herself. She then called the Reedy Creek Fire Department to help the victim.

Mickey Mouse Might get a New Meet and Greet Spot at Hollywood Studios

Hiya! How is everyone this fine day? I have some awesome gossip about everyone’s favorite mouse, Mickey!!! He is one mouse that everyone loves to see. I am pretty sure meeting Mickey Mouse is on everyone’s must do at Disney list. His meet and greet recently moved to the Backlot Tour at Hollywood Studios. However he might be moving again.

My sources tell me that Disney is making a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Meet and Greet in front of Disney Junior Live on Stage, that is a perfect location so it makes sense! It should be done sometime in August. If this happens Mickey will join the adorable Doc McStuffins and other Disney Junior Characters.

You Can Now Opt Out of More MagicBands for Resort Stays

Many people have been saying for quite sometime now that you should be able to opt out of getting more MagicBands for every resort stay. Well Disney always listens to their guests! It seems as though they have made this a reality. For now you can only do this on the site and not the app, but I am sure that is coming.

If you change your mind you can go back in and change your preference, if you do it in enough time before your arrival date.

There are a few pre-requisites to this option:

You must have at least one active MagicBand on your account
That Magicband has to be less than one year old

Keep in mind that Disney says MagicBand batteries will only last about 2 years and the batteries can not be replaced.

I love collecting MagicBands, so I want all that I can get! How about you?

Doc McStuffins “Pet Vet” Event to Highlight Care of Animals!

Doc McStuffins opens a new veterinary practice in her backyard clinic where she treats stuffed animals and toys – in a “Doc McStuffins” programming event for kids age 2-7 that will highlight care and responsibility for pets. The multi-episode story arc, “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet,” presented in collaboration with the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), Solid Gold Holistic Pet Food and Nationwide, begins FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 (9:00-10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and WATCH Disney Junior. Additional pet-themed episodes of “Doc McStuffins” will roll out on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and WATCH Disney Junior.

A music-video mash-up of Doc’s signature song, “Time For Your Check-Up,” and new song “Get Your Pet to the Vet,” as well as “Stuffy’s Pet Vlog,” an animated short-form series about Doc’s toy dragon, Stuffy, and his new pet, Squibbles, will also premiere during the programming event. DisneyJunior.com/Doc will also feature a Pet Care checklist designed to help kids nurture and care for their own pets.

Two new “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” mobile experiences will be released in conjunction with the programming event. On August 13, before the story debuts on TV, the popular Disney Junior Appisodes app for iOS devices will debut the full “Stuffy and Squibbles” episode with interactive elements, including the ability to help Doc diagnose and treat Stuffy’s pet Squibbles when he runs low on energy. On August 20, a “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” mobile game will be available in the Apple App Store. Featuring several mini-games, the app allows players to diagnose and treat pets, as they earn new tools and treats for the pets and special badges for their doctor scrubs.

Disney Publishing Worldwide will release multiple “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” print and e-book titles, including Dragon’s Best Friend, a collectible storybook featuring original artwork, on August 4; a Pet Vet storybook on September 1; and Take Your Pet to the Vet, a level one reader on October 6.

The “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” premiere schedule is:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 – “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” debuts with back-to-back episodes.

“Fetchin’ Findo/Dragon’s Best Friend” (9:00 a.m., ET/PT *extended episode) – Doc gives Donny’s new animatronic toy dog, Findo, a check-up and discovers that he has sand in his nose, which is preventing him from fetching. Then, the toys come across a furry creature-like toy named Squibbles at the park where Stuffy adopts as his pet.

“Take Your Pet to the Vet” (9:35 a.m., ET/PT) – Doc brings home her class hamster to care for over the weekend and must take her to the veterinarian after she comes down with a cold.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 21 – Two new “Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet” episodes premiere.

“Stuffy and Squibbles” (9:00 a.m., ET/PT) – On Stuffy’s first full day of being a pet owner, he forgets that Squibbles needs to be plugged in to charge, so Doc must remind him that pets need special care and attention every day.

“Three Goats A’ Cuddlin'” (9:30 a.m., ET/PT) – When Farmer Mack’s three toy pet goats start acting strangely, Doc discovers that their wool is tangled and shows Farmer Mack how to care for them properly.

The Peabody Award-winning animated “Doc McStuffins” series has been lauded globally for its imaginative storytelling about a young girl who aspires to be a doctor like her mom and runs a clinic for stuffed animals and toys. Through Doc and her toys, the series models good health practices while imparting to young viewers the importance of taking care of oneself and others.

Created and executive-produced by Humanitas Prize and Emmy Award-winning Chris Nee and directed by Emmy-winning Norton Virgien, “Doc McStuffins” is a production of Dublin, Ireland’s Brown Bag Films in association with Disney Channel. Disney Find – Custom Made Disney Signs

One of our fans of our Disney Addicts Buy, Sell and Trade group posted my Disney Find for today. Designer PiecesByJeanne makes these custom made Disney Signs.

You can get this hand painted Disney World Sign, or some of the other designs she has available. It seems the difference is the sizes and designs you pick.

They run from $120 up to $165.

It also looks like she makes some custom silhouettes too.

My suggestion would be to go to her store and go from there.

3 Year Old Girl Falls to Her Death on Disneyland Vacation

Sadly, a 3 year old girl fell to hear death at an Anaheim hotel during her Disneyland vacation.

Little Stephanie Martinez fell from the 5th floor balcony at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim, California while on vacation with her family from Las Vegas. The Embassy Suites is about 6 miles from The Disneyland Resort. Her family saw her hanging off the balcony, but they could not get to her in time.

New Star Wars Shops Could be on The Way to Disney World & Disneyland

Aloha everyone. It’s your friendly neighborhood Disney Gossip columnists here. Star Wars is everywhere, I think it is going to take over the world soon. I know there are many Star Wars fans out there, as for myself I am on the fence. I like to call Chip a scruffy looking nerf herder all the time.

You may have heard the when Shanghai Disneyland opens they will have a Star Wars themed store. It is supposed to have experiences that will take you above and beyond. According to my sources there might something very similar to that store coming this fall. It is supposed to be like a gift shop on steroids. So a gift shop and then some. There might also be some props from the movie coming out the end of the year and some things from past movies. It will also include the D-Tech Me experience where you can scans your likeness for action figures. There might be Star Wars characters too!

I was told this new shop might go in the Inovenentions building at Disneyland. At Disney World it might go in the Magic of Disney Animation building, since they did just shut that down.

I know many of you are getting pretty excited right now but this is not supposed to be permanent. It will just be a place holder, so to speak, until Star Wars Land opens up. If it makes you feel any better the shop will change with every new Star Wars film that is released. Maybe that means that the shops will have the first look at the new trailers when they are released.

Disney DIY – 3 Ingredient Dole Whips

Who doesn’t love the smooth, creamy, cold taste of a dole whip? I know I do, and I know I’m not alone – they have an almost cult-like following, and with good reason – it’s a delicious treat that you could only get when you’re in the Disney Parks – until now, that is! So if you’re feeling those post-Disney trip blues, or if you’re just in the mood for a cool treat, then you’ll definitely want to try this out at home:

3 Ingredient Dole Whip Recipe

Ingredients:
½ cup coconut milk
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
4 cups frozen pineapple chunks (either canned or fresh)

Directions:
Combine the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth (you will probably need to stir it partway through to make sure it is all combined)

Pour into a glass and garnish with optional paper umbrella
Sit back, relax, and sip away

Add pineapple juice to this to create the “dole whip float”, or for an “adult” version you can try adding rum to the mix

What a perfect thing to make on a hot summer day like today. Now if you’ll excuse me – I will be lounging outside, enjoying my dole whip, and dreaming of my next Disney World trip!
