Get Ready to Explore: New Park Map at California Adventure for Food & Wine
A new park map has arrived at Disney California Adventure for the Food & Wine Festival! The festival runs February 28 through April 21, 2025. The front of the map features Clarabelle in an adorable outfit.
First you’ll see an explanation for the Disneyland App with an image of Lightning McQueen and Mater in Carsland at the bottom. On the left side is a very brief overview of Lightning Lane and which ride offers Single Pass. On the right you’ll see examples of food items you can Mobile Order on the app.
When you open the guidemap completely, you’ll see the map of the park. Each section of the park has a different color with the dining and attractions labeled. The different sections of the park are Buena Vista Street, Hollywood Land, Avengers Campus, Cars Land, San Fransokyo Square, Performance Corridor, Pixar Pier, Paradise Gardens Park, and Grizzly Peak.
The back of the map has a section for Magic Key holders and a section explaining MagicBand+. A Spider-Man MagicBand+ is shown on the bottom.
The swamp is calling, and a new star is joining the party! Universal Pictures has sent the internet into a frenzy with the release of the first teaser trailer for “Shrek 5,” revealing a delightful peek into the beloved franchise’s next chapter and announcing a major casting coup: Zendaya.
The short, engaging teaser, now circulating widely online, cleverly utilizes a modern format, showing Shrek and Donkey using the Magic Mirror to scroll through TikTok-style videos. Familiar faces like Fiona and Pinocchio pop up, but the real surprise is the introduction of Shrek’s now teenage daughter, Felicia, who is revealed to be voiced by none other than Zendaya.
At the end of the playful teaser, the official cast is announced, confirming the return of the iconic voice actors: Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, and Cameron Diaz as Fiona. Adding to the excitement is Zendaya’s role as Felicia, one of Shrek and Fiona’s triplet children. While her brothers, Fergus and Farkle, who first appeared in “Shrek the Third,” are expected to make appearances, the focus of the teaser is clearly on Felicia’s introduction.
The buzz surrounding “Shrek 5” has been building for years, and this teaser has only amplified the anticipation. While the film was initially slated for a July 1, 2026 release, Universal has announced a shift to December 23, 2026, with “Minions 3” taking over the summer slot.

2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival Review
The 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has begun! Now through April 21 guests can enjoy delicious eats, jammin’ entertainment, special merchandise, and more. We were in the park for opening day of the festival and here’s what we thought.
There are eight Festival Marketplaces this year. Each one offers different food and beverage options that highlight ingredients and flavors from California. The marketplaces are:

Some of our favorite eats from the Festival Marketplaces were:
California Punch from California Craft Brews – This non-alcoholic drink was the perfect blend of mango, guava, and cucumber. We loved that we could share it with our kids as well!
Asa’DOS from Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo – This dish features both steak and chicken and the grilled skirt steak stole the show. It was juicy and delicious!
Sirloin Gruyere Mac & Cheese from Garlic Kissed – We’re pretty sure this is a new take on a dish from past food & wine festivals and it was a hit! The mac & cheese was creamy and the steak was flavorful. The combo was just yummy!
Birria Mac & Cheese from Mercado de Antojos – Mac & Cheese is a simple, yet tasty, dish on it’s own but Disney really elevated it with this offering! The onion-cilantro sauce isn’t overpowering and the tortilla crunch on top adds good texture.
Cherry Cobbler Pot de Creme from Golden Dreams – For those with a sweet tooth, don’t skip this dish! The vanilla custard and cherry filling blend beautifully. Plus it’s topped with oat crumble which is tasty and adds a nice texture.
Snickers Mickey Macaron from Uncork California – This festival favorite is a must-have every year. It’s large enough to share with your friends and family, though you won’t want to. Its the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter along with Snickers pieces.
This year there are two versions of the Sip & Savor Pass available. There is the regular 8-credit pass and a “half pass” which has 4 credits. Each credit will get you one food or non-alcoholic beverage from the Festival Marketplaces and other select dining locations. Also new this year, guests will receive a Mickey-shaped plate with every purchase of a Sip & Savor Pass. The plate is perfect for holding your eats and drinks and it’s super cute!
Everyone visiting the Festival will want to take home some special souvenirs. This year’s merchandise includes shirts, a hat, Minnie Ears, pins, a spirit jersey, and more! There is also merchandise just for Magic Key holders.
Along with Soarin’ Over California returning for the Food & Wine Festival, guests can enjoy a performance by the Jammin’ Chefs! These talented “chefs” combine pots, pans, and other kitchen tools to create different beats and sounds. They’re joined by Chip ‘n’ Dale, Daisy Duck, and Pluto! It’s a fun and entertaining show for the whole family.

Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side Closing for Major Refurbishment Starting March 3
Coffee lovers, take note! The flagship Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side will temporarily close for a major refurbishment beginning March 3, 2025. While Disney has yet to announce a reopening date or specific details on the updates, this project is expected to bring significant changes to the popular coffee spot.
This closure follows the recent refresh of the Marketplace Starbucks, which reopened after a two-week update. However, unlike the minor enhancements made to the Marketplace location, the West Side Starbucks is set to undergo a much more extensive overhaul.
Originally opening on May 30, 2014, the 4,000-square-foot West Side Starbucks has been a staple at Disney Springs, offering both indoor and outdoor seating and serving as a go-to spot for guests in need of a caffeine fix. While the location is closed, visitors looking for their Starbucks fix can head to the Marketplace kiosk near World of Disney.

Voice Actors Visit the All-New Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom
Grab your hats and mosey on over to Grizzly Hall—there’s exciting news for fans of Disney’s beloved Country Bear Musical Jamboree! Voice actors AJ LoCascio and Isaac Robinson-Smith recently had a chance to experience a private screening of the newly refreshed show at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and it was a foot-stompin’, tear-jerkin’ celebration of everything we love about this classic attraction.
In an Instagram post, LoCascio (@aj_locascio) shared his excitement about reuniting with Robinson-Smith (@irsvoices) for the special viewing:
“@irsvoices@irsvoices helped Sammy find his voice & I lent Henry mine. This is the first time we had watched the show & it was extraordinarily special that we got to do it together. There may have been tears… 🥹”
LoCascio, known for lending his voice to characters like Prince Lotor (Voltron), Marty McFly (Back to the Future games), Han Solo (Star Wars projects), and even Figment, couldn’t contain his joy at watching Henry—his musical, bear-y alter ego—perform in the newly updated Jamboree. And it doesn’t stop there: Robinson-Smith helped bring another lovable bear, Sammy, to life.
The freshly overhauled Country Bear Jamboree reopened in July 2024 following a seven-month refurbishment. The “Country Bear Musical Jamboree” still brings you all the knee-slappin’ country charm, but now it’s outfitted with extra bells, whistles, and even more sparkly rhinestones. LoCascio—who described the experience as a “dream come true”—also thanked the Walt Disney Imagineering team for maintaining the show’s original charm while infusing it with a modern flair:

If you haven’t sailed through “it’s a small world” lately, here’s what you need to know. Conceived for the 1964 New York World’s Fair and later replicated at Disneyland Park, “it’s a small world” was among the opening day attractions at Magic Kingdom.
